Haven't stayed in a Hostel in ages but this was great. Staff are very friendly and the rooms neat and clean with good bathroom/shower facilities. Will definitely stay there again.

This is the best hostel I have ever lived! It is converted from a real hotel and all the things remain classics and you can experience what a hotel is! You can use such a little amount to get an excellent service! If you go to Launceston, you have to live in Arthouse!
Toilet is very new and clean, kitchen has plenty of spaces and the air conditioning is very good. It's a pleasant journey to stay here!

Loved this place, close to the centre, near the museum. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Rooms just a bit cold in winter.

The Arthouse would have to be one of the best hostels I have been to so far. the Staff are FANTASTIC and you will feel right at home. lots of room to mingle and meet people and in a very well restored 1888 building. I would definately recomend to people who want a bit of room to relax.

I love both girls there very much . They are so nice and willing to give help.
The hostel itself is very charming and very clean. But I would love the hostel should provide public phone to servive it will be work

Debbie was an absolute star, really helpful, and phoned last minute taxi and bus when i was running late from a day tour, to allow me to get to Hobart! Brilliant.
Really clean, and decent kitchen too! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location for Aurora Stadium and the city centre. Deb was the most helpful and friendly person I've met in a long time. If I'm back for the football again, I'll stay at Arthouse and will definitely be recommending the hostel to anyone going to Launceston.
