Really friendly and hospitable staff. Helped us with all of our queries, and spoke excellent English.

Great place to avoid the party hostels; excellent if you want a couple of days to chill out and recover while exploring La Paz. However I wouldn't recommend it to solo travellers who are trying to meet people. Great place for couples and families

Had a great stay at Arthy's from the start- 4 of us arrived at 6am off the night bus from Uyuni and as our rooms were free we were allowed into them straight away free of charge. All the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help usl, from showing us where we could get laundry done, to booking tours, and one night even ordering a takeaway for us due to our poor Spanish! The showers were always hot and amazing selection of films to watch as well. Felt like home in crazy La Paz!

Really really good place, staff are absolutely amazing and very helpful. Definitely not a party hostel, but still a very good place.

A sanctuary from the busy streets of la paz. Very helpful and accommodating staff.

A night staff refused to clean my room saying I am leaving the next day. I stayed for 4 days and it was never cleaned. My room had NO window and it was cold at night. The mattress gave me a back pain after two days. Pros: The elderly gentleman who owns the place is friendly.

The staff were all happy, friendly and really helpful when i ended up in hospital (they called the clinic for us as our Spanish is limited). The only thing to be improved is the internet. It was slow / non existent at times and you had to pay to use the computer.

Friendly staff and a cozy environment. The complete opposite of a party hostel; that said, everyone here was friendly and sociable (staff and guests) and they layout of the hostel is conducive to casual interaction. They have a nice TV room and a pleasant sun/smoking deck on the roof. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4-day stay at Arthy's.

Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a twin room which was a good size and fairly quiet. Big bathroom with lots of showers, they were pretty good temp and pressure. Wifi was good

Very, very clean toilets and bathrooms. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very good. Bedroom was spacious and really glad there was a mirror and a window we could open. Even though it's on the busiest street, there was hardly any noise in the room - fantastic! Beds were super comfy and had two pillows!! Best sleep in weeks. Staff were helpful and the hostel was very secure. I really liked the Salon area with tv and tables. Very easy to find, would highly recommend!

A place to feel at home. More a Hotel Feeling than hostel Feeling. Kitchen facility, friendly staff, very quiet and good sleeping place

The staff was very helpful, the showers were great. We were traveling by bicycle so security was important and there were no problems. A better stove would be a plus. Cheaper places are available but overall a good deal for the price.

The Stuff is very friendly and helpfully. There is a homelike livingroom and as well free wifi. The toilets and the bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is small but has everything you need.

Nice, chilled hostel in La Paz nicely positioned midway between the bus terminal and the Middle of town. Our room was small but very comfortable, the showers were hot and the kitchen was well equipped (if small). Breakfast costs an additional 10BOB. The hostel were very helpful with any requests about the city and were very accommodating in looking after our bags when we went to Coroico for a weekend. A good, safe bet in La Paz and an island of peace in hectic city

Showers were terrible but everything else was pretty great. Warm, safe, comfy beds, secure rooms, no complaints.
