The staff were great and location. It did have a sociable atmosphere and pool tables. the pools nice but sleeping was not ok with the amount of bugs and cockroaches. and it was not at all secure. It was quirky......not really my thing but that's me.

Firstly, it was well over-priced! Communal areas were very dirty. Simple things such as pots and pans weren't freely available- hiring necessities seems ridiculous. Our room smelt of damp and leaked during the rain. I would certainly never recommend it to anyone. The location was not perfect- but this point would have been overlooked if the property itself was better. Security was not great as random people (not guests) were constantly in private rooms on the property.

This is definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It really had everything you could want. Activities planned each day and night including yoga and bush walks, a brewery on-site, a cafe, a restaurant, a pool, hamocks, games... I think the list could go on. Its a bit of a walk to the center of town, but not painful at all and they have a shuttle if you're feeling lazy. Some of the lockers in the room were broken, and its a bit pricey But overall I'd definitely recommend and stay again.

Fairly cool set up, staff seemed a bit scatterbrained and incredulous when we wanted a usable locker in our room for our valuables - they told us they were actually getting rid of the lockers in the rooms but did compromise by giving us $3 for one of the outdoor security lockers to use. Bathrooms were ok although some maintenance needed on locks for doors. Shuttle bus is very handy. I'd probably stay again.

BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT. No wonder they have a notice saying max stay 2 weeks. LOVED it. Took me back to the 60's, fabulous era. Nomads have kept the character I think of the original designers of this amazing site. Staff wonderful. The whole place was a great relief from the intense madness of (I think overrated pricey) Byron Bay. But then of course I knew the 60's so ...Guests I met, interesting and charming. Really chilled out here. Pool, cafe, bus, excellent. Showers fun and clean Great

Big hostel with lots of people, so the kitchen was usually packed. Not so "hippie" place as you might think, everything is available but with a price tag. The rooms are super small, we stayed in 4 people dorm and there was no place to put our stuff. Safety box is expensive, you pay by hours.
