It's a great place to stay. Very very clean and the staff are really helpful. May not be the cheapest, but definitely worth the money : )

Good place. Kind staff with good English. They didn`t seem overworked and were interested in what I was doing, where I was going, etc. Free I-net. I liked that the bed I slept on was in a small room of four; it was easier to get to sleep then in a larger hostel. I met some good folks there too. I surely reccomend.

I was in europe for 3 months before arriving in Tokyo and this is one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in! The hostel was super clean, staff friendly and helpful, everything is provided and the comfiest bed ever! The best part about the hostel is it is setup as a traditional Japanese house, i cant say a bad word about this hostel! I even left my jacket there and they have arranged to send it to my house for me!

This place is definitely a place of value for money. At first when I found the place, I thought it must be wrong, cos, it says "ryokan toukaisou"... I thought it should be somehting like a youth hostel or something... The shower is clean and the bed, though bunk bed, but it's made of wood... however, it's aboiut 5 min walk from the nearest metro station, but the rest, for eg. convenient stores, and eating places, are just nearby.

Good, clean hostel, if a little noisy as the room opened onto the commona area.

Fantastic place but the 11pm curfew is strictly enforced which can make it a little dull.

A very clean and tidy hostel, with helpful staff. But the initial direction to the hostel could be improved by changing the name of the place from Asakusa Hostel Toukaisou to Asakusa Ryokan Toukiasou. This is because I walked passed the sign thinking it was not the right place compared to the name I was given. Overall the place was very pleasant to stay in.
