I only stayed 1 night, I had booked a twin room and when I arrived on my own they only charged me a single rate. I was very grateful and impressed. Really nice staff and great to have individual safes in the rooms.

Really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very friendly and helpfully, I would defenetly come back. just the rooms were a bit too hot during the night and it was hard to get some fresh air, because of the small windows, but it was too hot nearly everywhere in ct at this time.

I can highly recoment your hostel. The only thing is that the music in the bar is very loud to sleep at night and it is on until midnight.

Guest house was fantastic and spotless! Love the porch and kitchen. If the kitchen had recycling bins, it would be awesome so people wouldn't chuck recyclables or have to schlep them over to the main site to recycle.

By far one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The staff is amazing and super helpful with anything that you need. The beds, rooms, and bathrooms are super clean as well. The pool is very nice and the balcony off the bar has an amazing view of Table Mountain. Enjoy a cold beer at the end of the day over looking the pool and Table Mountain and watch the cloulds roll over. Steve and Cal were great at organizing trips and events around town! Thanks again!! The staff didn't really have any good suggestions on where to eat around Cape Town. They could only name a few places and weren't very knowledgeable. There were also people partying on the roof above us until five a.m. even though quiet hours began at midnight and no staff went up to tell them to quiet down.

Excellent place, well kept, clean, secure. The staff was great and very helpfull. The place has a solution for every need. The location is very good, but a bit far to be on ones own. Excellent experience. I would stay there again with no doubt! Thanks for everything.

I loved bathrooms, cleanliness, decor & location but I found the staff lacked customer service and when I did try to take advantage of any of the services they listed, I felt like a burden. I went to the bar to socalise & found it not full of back pakers wanting to meet and greet but by the bar tender's mates who literally stalked off when they no longer had the place to themselves nor the full attention of their mate. Conclusion: A great place to lay your head and nothing more.

The free Wifi was misleading because there was a limit on how much you could use it. Also, I had great difficulty logging on and off the Wifi, thus I would run out of my free quota for the day. Also, some of the faucets in the shower did not work properly.

Really friendly and informative staff, great 'free hour of wifi/ day' policy. Well priced and the bar/ cafe was good for when we couldn't be bothered to venture out. We had a really good time there.

Ashanti was one of the best places we stayed during our one month travels in Africa. It was clean, safe, and friendly. The staff untiringly answered our questions (and we heard them answer the same questions to the people behind us with no loss of enthusiasm).
