I thought this hostel was brilliant! Yes, the double rooms were a little noisey as stated on Hostelworld but the staff ensured the music was turned off and people moved on long before midnight so we had no problems. Amazing showers and great location.

Too much noisy.... we couldn't sleep !We could hear what neighboors told in their own room ... and when some people are drunk, it is not acceptable Rooms do not have plugs in order to charge batteries Toilets were not very clean Price was good but i would prefer pay more and sleep !

Even with the 2 little heaters in one of the private rooms, they were very ineffecient and took forever to get warm. No heat in the bathroom either. The staff at the travelers desk were amazingly helpful and full of info. Being able to change my money to rand 6 days a week made life so easy. The upstairs bar was totally enjoyable with good music and food but lousy selection of liquor.

Late night loud music was a very negative factor that would discourage us from using such accommodation options in the future. I really believe that after midnight the volume should be reduced to a reasonable level so that guests who would like to sleep would find this possible.

Toilet paper missing sometimes, room near the pool was too cold, the upstairs' was better, much more space also. There are always people at the bar inside, cool, and it is pretty close to Long Street, with a lot of bars and etc Made friends with Victor, from Malawi, he works there and is always smiling sincerely :--) Good fun, great guy, hopefully he is flying in soon for a visit!
