Ashfield House is in the very centre of Dublin, between Trinity College and O'Connell St. Our visitors have said this 'excellent location' makes the hostel a 'very handy little place to crash after a night in Temple Bar'. This 'perfect home away from home' has 'friendly and helpful' staff who 'go out of their way' to help, plus free luggage storage, a 'delicious and filling' breakfast and an ''eat me I'm free' cabinet' in the kitchen. We like their daily walking tours of Dublin.
Property Information:
Ashfield House is Dublin's most centrally located hostel. We're just one minute's walk to Trinity College, Temple Bar and O'Connell Street as well as bus stops to the airport, ferry terminal, Guinness Storehouse and Heston Station.
All rooms are ensuite, from private rooms to our multi-bedded rooms. Breakfast is included and consists of cereal, toast, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice and sometimes eggs, fruit and muffins.
We have free guided walking tours of Dublin city every day, plus a ton of other free stuff, such as free Wi-Fi (lobby only), free luggage storage at reception and free city maps and guides. There's also safety deposit boxes and Internet terminals (small fee), an international payphone, drink and snack machines and a fully-equipped kitchen.
We're open 24/7, with a great check-out time of 11.30am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Best of all, we've got a lift so you don't have to drag your luggage up and down stairs.
Please note that children under 16 are not permitted to sleep in shared dorms.
Please note that when making a booking for a dormitory that we will try to keep your group together but we cannot guarantee that your group will all be in the same room.

This place has the perfect combination of location and comfort, opposite Trinity College but in a quieter street. We cater to all ages - backpackers, school and university groups, families, couples, etc. We've got a free walking tour every morning, a pub crawl from the hostel every evening and free DVDs/games. The building has an elevator and our fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, good-looking staff are happy to help anyone who needs assistance. They also have tons of recommendations; personally, I usually tell guests they should visit the Book of Kells at Trinity College and Library.

Latest Review
This was the worst hostel we stayed in while we were in Dublin and we stayed in three. The room had not been cleaned at all, besides maybe changing the linens (hopefully) there were spider webs and clumps of dust in the bathroom. The heater did not work well. I would not stay in this hostel again.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 2 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Please note we have a 48hr cancellation policy.
All cancellations must be received before 2pm two days before arrival otherwise they will be charged a cancellation charge equal to the first night's accommodation.
Please note we have a 7 night maximum stay policy. During busy period you could be asked to change room however your room type will be honored or upgraded.
Children under 16 are not permitted to sleep in shared dorms. Balance on all groups of 10 persons or more are due four weeks prior to arrival. Groups of 10 persons or more are required to fill in a code of conduct form on arrival and leave a refundable damages deposit of €20pp to a maximum of €300, depending on the size of the group. This deposit may be paid in cash upon check-in, or the party leader may give their credit card details as a guarantee for this and will be refunded on the morning of departure when the rooms have been checked.
Abraham house is a tourist hostel, for short- term stays only. Hostel management reserves the right to cancel or amend a booking for anti-social behavior towards hostel staff and/or guests, or non-adherence to our terms and conditions.
