oerfect place to stay in Dublin

I stayed in the 8 beds room the first night and in the 18 beds room fo the rest of my staying. the hostel is quite clean, with pefect bathrooms in the room.The breakfast was great.The hostel is in a great location, right in the city center, so everything is easly reach. The staff is really helpful and friendly ("Santa Claus" was the best :) and i really loved music he played, Nice hostel to stay in Dublin

Had a great time at Ashfield house, it has everything you would want from a hostel. Even the breakfast was good. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends! PS! Thanks to Eddie for showing us the places to be saturday night! :)

Grand spot, free breakfast adds good value to the stay.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Connor was also great entertainment some evenings when he would play his harmonica to Bob Dylan. The only down fall of the hostel was staying in a 18 bed mixed dorm for 13 nights and the cleaning staff. The woman refused to clean our room for 5 days in a row because some of our other roommates were messy and she was very rude and grumpy. The rest of the staff was wonderful.

It was the first time I went to a hostel and I really apreciated the service. The place, the location, the facilies were really nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. I will recommend Ashfield House in Dublin to my friends. Thanks Eveline

The night staff were far more helpful with any questions, did find that morning staff where far more willing to help with any queries.

The hostel was right in the middle of all the sights. Some of the staff were fun, particularly the one who plays harmonica. And it was great to have the kitchen, plus I made use of the 'eat me I'm free' cabinet.

Everything was great! Everywhere was a little cramped, but you don't really mind because you feel like you definitely get your money's worth anyway! LOVED IT :)

Everything is within walking distance and getting to the airport from here is easy. The showerspace is small, but still there's a nice shower. You leave the key in the hostel when you go out, so no chance of losing it. Matrasses could be better. Breakfast is ok.

Nice little hostel - friendly + helpful staff were welcoming and booked us a taxi for our departure, plenty of breakfast, great location, free wifi. Possible downsides - room was pretty small (private double) but we weren't there much so not a major problem. Not a very modern place but comfortable enough.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I would rcomend it to other people . 12euro a night is very cheap specialy the hostel is situated in the city centre

Bring ear plugs! It was noisy at all times of the day because of street traffic, squeaky doors, and a bar next door. Other than that it wasn't bad. The breakfast was decent.

Really good - great location and very nice twin room with en-suite and comfortable beds - exceptionally good value. Only (small) criticism was it was really quite cold in the room - it was a cold day and the heating system seemed a bit antiquated. But otherwise very highly recommended indeed.

An average hostel with great location. If you are not too high maintanence its perfect for a few days. Clean hostel, friendly staff. I would stay there again!
