Nice hostel right in the center of everything. great breakfast, secure, clean, nice kitchen. Big dorms in the rare can get noisy due to the location next to night club....mostly on weekends. Would stay here again but in smaller upstairs dorms.

While my husband and I enjoyed our stay at Ashfield House - the staff were really helpful and friendly - we were a bit irritated that housekeeping kept opening up the window to our room every day while we were gone. I'm sure it was to air out the room a bit, but it made us feel less safe leaving our belongings behind while going out and enjoying Dublin.

Ashfield House's location is fantastic, within easy reach of Temple Bar and all of the tourist hotspots in Dublin. Our private room was more than functional and the other living spaces seemed more than adequate despite not using them much. Slight concerns with the security surrounding the 'left luggage' room but all in all an excellent time in a place that I will more than likely use again.

Great place to go, location is absolutely perfect. It's right in the city center with a busy bus stop right at the front door. Despite that it was quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hostel is aging a bit, shower barely working. Wifi was useless this way, it was way too slow. Other than that it's a great hostel I would really recommend going to.

This hostel was great, it's just I spent the night in a cooler one the night before so I was a little biased. Everything was great the breakfast was included and was more elaborate than just toast :)

Excellent location - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit in dublin as well as being very close to all the main pubs/restaraunts in the Temple Bar area. Great price. Breakfast included in the price. Always someone at reception desk and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were average for a hostel - comfortable size and clean. Would stay there again.

Very good location, close to all major locations of interest. good showers, good breakfast. But, Don't think of staying in a room that is above the street. EXTEREMLY NOISY! from the traffic and busses. I asked to switch to a rear room, and it was much much better :)

First, I spent like 4 weeks in last february and march and it was great. Everything was perfect . And so I came again last week end to realise that they change the decorations of the walls, they bought new chairs, new tables, new pillows. So they improve the comfort of the guests in a really good way but it was only one thing it didn't change it was the kindlynness of the staff ( they are all very welcoming and i will have a special thanks to Connor : the best of all ). Will come back again .

It was a very nice hostel. It was in a great location and the breakfast was good. The one thing that I didn't like about the place was that you had to make your own bed.

The staff's kind for helping me to call for delivery. She also prepared breakfast in the morning as I need to leave the hostel in early morning. Although it was just coffee/tea, bread & cereals, it was lovely. =) The bathroom has mold at the corners which can't be totally removed, but overall, it was clean.

Would like to thank your staff for their kindness, especially Connar McKnight and Peter at the reception counter. My dad Jack shared some happy moments with them on the harmonica. He just cherish the evening hour with them.

Hostel staff were fabulous and friendly. The hostel itself needed a little more cleaning. Ensuite washrooms were not clean. Looked like the floors were cleaned and not the toilet. Rooms kind of small but not a big deal as you're only there to sleep. Breakfast was great! So was the timing. Luggage room was not too safe. Lockers in the lobby were great asset. Internet was expensive to use, however there were enough internet cafes nearby.
