Easy to find, good location, simple but adequate breakfast. Few things not working to well in room (22) - the bathroom light and power plugs on left hand wall.

I had a 18-bed room because it was cheapest, and I'd say that room in the hotel is a great party place because it is so cheap and a wonderful location, so close to Temple Bar and Trinity College for spots to go out at night. Plus breakfast the next day is great! But that room was not the cleanest, so if you plan to get a good sleep I would go with a smaller room.

The staff made me feel like I was welcomed. Connor especially gave me ideas of what to see in the city, where to find the best places for food/drinks, and kept me laughing CONSTANTLY. I had an amazing time with the open concept for natural interactions with others.

We had a room on the second floor facing the street and it was very, very, very noisy.

Would rate it as the best hostel Ive been to, but i have been back and had a rad time both times. Situated in prime position of Dublin, but best to check in & ask were best to park if you have a car, which we should of done.

Very good value, breakfast was good for the price of a stay. Internet on their computers was a tad expensive at 4 euros per hour, but I think people with laptops could use wifi for free. I appreciated having a secure room to store bicycle.

Brilliant location! My room was not facing the street, so it was super quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nothing special but then again there are plenty of places in town that serve full Irish breakfast so no problem there. All in all - I enjoyed my stay at Ashfield House and would recommend it to others.

Your hostel its really ok. Only the air in the lobby is very bad. It will better sometimes open the window for fresh air. Many greetings to Dublin, a wonderful city

Location and cleanliness are great, but lacks some personal touch of friendliness and fun.

You can't beat the staff at this hostel. We had to get a few things sorted out and they were awesome about helping. The kitchen size and free breakfast are great as well. They do need to greese the upstairs door though. Its horribly squeaky and was right next to our room. Also, the faucet in our room wouldn't stop running. But otherwise it was great!

For only 10€ a night, this hostel was a really great deal! It was in a very central location and easy to get to and from the airport. It wasn't exceptionally clean or well-maintained but it was definitely not unlivable. The breakfast was free and much better than most hostel breakfasts and the wifi worked really well, even in my room!

We didn't spend much time there, but it seemed pretty run down.

The computers are in fact FunBOx, laggy PC at 1 euros the 15 mn ... The bedrooms are noisy the week-end because of the club close to it.
