The location is good for a base to explore london. The rooms are small however, and it is difficult to live in them comfortably. If you are staying a couple of nights and will only be there to sleep OK, but do not expect to leave with lasting memories of this hostel and the people you met there.

Kitchen is good, lounge could use some new, comfy couches! security is good, staff were helpful but could have had a bit more patience. a very small locker in lobby was nice but no other lockers... water in bathrooms was EXTREMELY hot (especially basement one) bathrooms were fine but the 1st floor one smelled REALLY bad of urine- even after freshly being cleaned! other bathrooms were good... beds were just metal frames ones, rooms had enough space and a sink and mirror. coin laundry was 3lbs t

Staff at night is very nice, the cleanlines in bathrooms are poor! & the rooms are too small.

I had a comfortable stay. The Breakfast setup has been improved in several ways since I last stayed. Well done.

Excellent Halloween decorations, and plenty of food at the complementary breakfast

Toilets and especially showers weren't clean but as a cheap hostel to simply spend your nights in during a your visit to london the Ashlee House Hostel was overall a good chooice.

I was a little disappointed because your hostel did not quite reach the picture that you had on the internet. My two friends had to leave the hostel to go to a hotel because of the mold and bad indoor air made them sick because of allergies. Also the locker-system could be improved so that everyone should have their own lockers to keep things safe during the daytime and when sleeping. Breakfast should include fruit, yoghurt and something else to put on bread than marmalade. Thank you.

my one complaint is that my bunk bed did not have a guard on it and i felt that i may fall six feet to the floor and paralyse myself ... so.. i put the mattress on the floor.. i stayed on the ground floor in room three..all the other beds had an orange board near the pillow side for privacy but which would also stop you falling out.. i consider this boardless high bed very dangerous and would like to see all the hight bunks with some sort of guard

The hostel is in a very good location. It was OK for one night but I wouln't have liked to stay longer because the 4 bedroom accommodation was extremely small with hardly any room for luggage and no space at all to hang my coat + clothes for the night.... Had I known, I would have preferred to stay in a 6 bedroom accommodation. I saw one opposite my room which was more spacious. The sink in the room was a bit plugged and hardly usable. The bed sheets were very clean. Thank you.
