The lack of a lift / an elevator was tough if you had your room on the 4th floor and you had to carry heavy suitcases by yourself on very narrow steps.... The studio was tiny and crammed with furniture, the bathroom the size of a boat cabin's bathroom, the sink almost impossible to use for its minuscule size, with the usual 2 taps (1 for cold and the other for hot water...). However, considering the posh&convenienlocation (Gloucester road in South Kensington), it was excellent value for money

Obviously, there were some problems with the booking as the Astons Apartments did not receive a notification that we had booked. So when we came to the Apartments all double rooms were already booked. However, when they found our booking on another portal the receptionist did his utmost to make our stay pleasant. We even got an upgrade! It was awesome. Nice room and great location. 10 minutes to the A&V Museum and 15 minutes to Harrods. So always good to call apartments to check the booking.
