Really nice neighbourhood, right beside hyde park. About 10 min walk from the closest tube station so not that close. Friendly staff. Lockers for each bed. Luggage storage. Simple breakfast, toast, cereal, instant coffee - would have like a bit more variety but not a deal breaker. Overall a nice stay :).

Bathroom and sheets where clean, but floor has not been vacuumed for a long time. There was also a lot of dust on the furniture. It was impossible to vent the room, because the window was too small.

The security is great (remember, it's a hostel NOT A HOTEL, so you have to take care of your stuff anyway) under the beds are some kind of lockers to save your things and they can give you a lock with a 5 pound deposit that you get back when you check out. The staff was great and really helpful. The cleanness was OK. The location wasn't the best, but if you are not afraid of public transportation on another country, and you don't care on spending money on transport, then you're OK. £4,50 subway

It's a very good hostel. The common area to hang around is the kitchen because in the TV room nobody speaks at all. Rooms are spacious, building is great and there's a lot of showers and toilets. It's always clean, the staff was very helpful, you get lockers in your room and smaller(safer)ones in the reception. It's in a VERY good zone, right next to HydePark, NaturalHistoryMuseumand 4 BarclaysStations. More group activities would have been nice, specially as a solo traveller.

Location was great as you were just a half block from hydepark and only a few blocks away from the underground where you could go practically anywhere. I enjoyed walking around the park and taking in the sights. Some drawbacks included: —the internet was painfully slow, in this day and age internet is increasingly becoming a priority and I think most of us would rather see an increase in room prices in exchange for faster internet. —the bathroom was relatively dusty, could stand a mopping

It was the most expensive hostel I stayed in, and it was an interesting experience. I don't blame the hostel for the kids who were more interested in their computers than in talking with eachother but it certainly hampered the experience. The idea of sleeping next to several embassies was really cool. Hyde park was seriously 2 minutes away. Super cool experience.

The area is very good, right next to Hyde Park, in a really cool area. You are between 5 and 10 minutes walking from the Subway Station and good museums, like the Natural History Museum. The subway take you everywhere, and the famous sightseeing are only a few stations from the Hostel. The facilities are good, the breakfest is good, but the Internet Wi-Fi only works at the living room and is not that fast. They have computers but are paid. The public is young but the atmosphere is average!

This place far exceeded my expectations due to it's fantastic location, cleanliness and overall good vibe. They had a machine to book tours, shows, etc which was very convenient. I have to say the best part was the wonderful staff. They were really cool, genuine people and would go out of their way to help you. They really played an active role in helping me plan what to do on y trip. The only sore spot is that the wi-fi and paid internet terminals, while functional, need to be upgraded.

Stay was ok here. It was expensive and they nickel and dime you for things like towels. Also, my room key card scanner was broken so I had to be let into my room by the front desk each time, which made coming and going a PITA. Washing machines were also broken.

I definitely would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in London. It was safe, in a good area, and had all of the amenities you'd want in a hostel save for a bar.

Pretty nice building, with big kitchen and good room for meals or just meeting some new people! They also had a big common room with lots of sofas, computers and a tv where they organize movie sessions some nights! Really cool for the ones who are lonely-travellers! I enjoyed a lot my stay. I also could leave my luggage in a closed room the hours before my check-in and after my check-out! The only bad bad thing was the internet. Apart from that, perfect stay! The neighborhood is lovely.

Good place to stay. Decent kitchen, good common area, and fairly clean with nice youth staff. Average breakfast of cereal, toast, and tea. Rooms are good sized and have cages underneath to store your things. Near several embassies and Hyde Park but a little far from the main tourist attractions. A little expensive but it is London.

Staff was great. Breakfast was hit or miss with the times..

The nearest tube is 20mins walk away, which by London standard, it's quite far since there are tubes everywhere. The pillow of the bed is at best 5cm in height, which means I have to roll them up for some elevation. There is no lift, but the staff are kind enough to help with the luggage. But after long day of walking, 3 floors up seems impossible. First time to London so I am not sure what other accommodation will be like with the money paid, but I will definitely not stay here again.

GREAT hostel with great staff who were super helpful for everything from recommending free tours and pub crawls, to getting us some band aids! We didn't feel like the room was too hot although there isn't AC. It's a bit of a walk from the closest tube station (10 min) and be prepared to walk up the stairs. However it is in a very safe and nice area with a wholefoods and several restaurants/pubs nearby. The breakfast is pretty basic (toast, cereal, etc.) but it's good enough. Would recommend!
