Considering that it's London and we really wanted a private room, this was a good deal. As others have mentioned this is not very close to a subway. But we wanted to explore more of Kensington anyway, so the location is not bad depending on what you want to do.

The hostel is in a great location!! It's well equipped, the staff is gentle, it's clean and has spacious common places. They don't have the best internet connection (there was no way to use Skype) but it's OK for checking e-mail or Facebook.

Very well situated, in a very beautiful and calm sector. A 10 min walk from the station. The staff was nice and helpful... Rooms were okay, pretty standard.. Bathrooms ok but not the greatest (definitely need flip flops!). There is NO elevator so you have to carry your bags up the staircases (8 or 9 people rooms are on the 4th or 5th floor). Also, I did not find this a very social hostel. TV in the middle of the common room so most people sit and watch while on their phones. Kind of a dead vibe

The place is Clean, and the rooms are not noisy and it's good. The location is quite far away from the station, about 15 minutes by walk. It's safe to walk around at night though, as the area is very safe. The Staff are very nice usually, except for the breakfast time staff. The breakfast is up to 10, but I'm a slow eater, and I once ate up over ten o'clock. Usually, in other hostels, they let you finish your meal, but here, they started shouting at the people. The wifi here is REALLY BAD.

For a place in central London, it was excellent! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave excellent directions and suggestions on places to go/things to do. They were very accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay, which was also really helpful. I know the price may seem off-putting, but for a hostel in the South Kensington it was worth the money!

Really enjoyed staying here. As a girl staying alone in a hostel for the first time it was a great place to stay too. I enjoyed being right near Hyde park and the staff helped give me ideas for tours and places to see.

Staff were great. Location was good - it's a little bit of a walk to the nearest tube station but easy if you catch a bus. Room and bathroom was big especially compared to other hostels in London. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place to stay with all facilities one could dream of in a london hostel. Perfect location between Hyde Park and the london Tube, a few steps to the Natural History Museum.

this was the nicest, cleanest, best located and best staffed hostel i stayed at in my time in europe. there is nothing at all wrong with this hostel, and i really enjoyed my time here, hanging out in the lounge, cooking in the kitchen. great wifi. very awesome staff. right next to hyde park, which is fantastic.

It was very cheap, but i still enjoyed to stay there. Worth every penny. It's not a five star hotel of course, so people often expect to much. I wished they had air condition or something to make the room cooler, because i was staying there with 20-30 C all day, so it was very hot, but it was a great value for the money,

Great hostel with great facilities

Slightly more pricey than some places and a little bit of a walk to the tube with a heavy suitcase on a warm day. But all that is worth it when you see the amazing interior of the ancient house.

The hostel is in a great location, just a two minute's walk from Gloucester Road station. The staff is friendly and the beds and rooms are quite comfortable.

Only stayed here for one night and wish I could have been here for longer. Staff were so nice and the hostel had such a great vibe. Not far from the tube which connects you to everything. Would definitely stay here again!
