We weren't able to chart our mobile phones in our room or everywhere except at the reception. In addition to that my girl didn't can straight her hair or something else... I think our german charters need more power...

Location is great. The dorms meet the minimum requirements you need: bed, fresh sheets, mirror, place for luggage. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Thumbs up! One of the things I missed though was the wireless connection that did not work for some reason. A negative aspect I was pissed at was that they couldn't offer European outlets. If you want to use one you have to buy it from the reception for 5 pounds. So be prepared and come with your own!

Very nice hostel. Staff was friendly. The bathrooms could really do with some pegs to hang your towel and clothes.

For reasons that weren't clear to me, the temperature of the room in the hostel was 25-30 degrees, even when it was no more than 15 outside. That was a bit hot for me to be sleeping in.

The location could not be better. The neighborhood is great, really scenic, and you\'re close to Hyde Park, the Victoria and Albert, and the Natural History Museum. The room and the bathroom were both really nice and clean, and everything seemed like it worked. Unfortunately, while the front door could be locked, it never was, so I don\'t feel like the security was really the best, even though I personally didn\'t have any issues.

Nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Facilities all worked perfectly. Possibly a bit far out of the city but tube station is only 15 minutes walk away.

This hostel made our trip to London as amazing as it was. The staff was one of the best features! Very helpful and fun people. If ever in London again, will stay here.

Had a great stay at Astor Hyde Park- Location is fantastic- really nice and safe area- 10 minute walk to tube but the only time this was long was when we had our rucksacks when we arrived! Otherwise its a lovely stroll! We stayed in a Double bed Private room- very clean and happy with it! The mattress was a little 'springy' but we were so exhausted from exporing the city every day we didnt even notice it after a day or two. Would be nice to see maybe a mattress protector on the beds.

Very pretty hostel in a posh neighborhood. Good distance from the Piccadilly line, which is useful for a direct route to Heathrow or the city center. The dorm room I stayed in had a beautiful skylight. Common rooms are enormous, as is the kitchen. The staff seemed like a fun bunch, but could have been a bit more attentive instead of chatting amongst themselves. Only a minor detail, but it does matter. Other than that, this is a great place.

The sheets were white and clean, no complaints there, but everything else could have been a lot cleaner. There was mould in my bathroom...

500 char is not enought, but dirty rooms, not clean enough or min clean i dont expect hilton quality but a bit better not find ball of dust under the bed, check every single floor under the bed, or under the matt in the toilet all black so filthy. receptionist take the job as game, no caring about the needs of the customer. only 1 guy was so helpfull the spaniard in the night the rest better loose them. loud music in the kitchen in the afternoon i go to eat or to sit on line not to a party...

Beautiful old building, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location!! If you have any mobility issues or heavy baggage you can't bring up a lot of narrow stairs, this is probably not the place for you, but I loved staying here. Highly recommended!

The hostel is in a beautiful location and about a 7 min walk to the nearest metro station. It was clean, the communal bathroom was in the room so it was nice not having to leave the room to use it. the staff was very nice and there is a locked room to put bags after checked out. I highly recommend this hostel.

The hostel is in a really nice neighborhood and the atmosphere inside is even greater with a beautiful staircase. Our room was clean and had an en-suite bathroom which was on the one hand great but on the other led to longer waiting periods in the morning than in other hostels. We also had a window that we could only close with a coat hanger (but we had no idea if this was intentional or not). There was no Wifi in our room, but only in the reception area. Breakfast is free! We had a great time!

The main plus about Astor is the location: it\'s in the very centre of London, in line with the Imperial College and a couple of embassies. It\'s a 10 min walk from Gloucester Rd tube station so it\'s well connected to other sites in the city. The building itself is a jewel, with some of the original details, such as the high windows and the entrance door, quite well preserved. The dorm bathrooms are far from clean though and the dining area is gloomy. For non-germfreaks, it\'s good value for money.

Hostel was OK for the money. Staff need to not answer the phone while serving people who are actually there, in front of them. Walls of rooms are very thin, so if you don't want noise late into the night when people get back from a night out, this is not the place for you.

it is near Gloucester Road. this hotel is good located because there are three undergroud lines at Gloucester Road station. in summary you can go to main tourist attraction by Gloucester Road. you can use the kitchen to cook or you can use the microwave to warm-up your meal. Enjoy it!
