The hostel was very very good! lounge is very nice with sofas tables and a big screen for TV, I felt like being home for the 2 nights I have been there. I was in room 31, right size for 3 people, very quiet and absolutely clean, they fixed an electricity problem immediately when told. bathroom very very clean. The kitchen very useful and breakfast included in the price very adequate. Accessibility might be a problem for disabled people due to the structure of the building. Area super cool!

I stayed at Astor Hyde Park for three weeks, in the winter, and it was really good! It's warm, very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the facilites are great. Good breakfast, well-equipped kitchen, cozy lounge, comfy beds, overall an excellent place to stay!

I had an amazing stay! The staff were super friendly, helpful and always available. Even after we checked out they let us hang around until we had to leave for our flight. The rooms were clean, as was the bathroom. I stayed in a 9 room mixed and it was perfect. The only slight improvments that could be made were having towels in the bathroom for drying hands on and a little bit thicker pillows. Otherwise everything was great! I would stay here over a hotel any day. Great area, excellent staff.

The hostel was in a great area. I was skeptical since this was the first time staying in any hostel, but it definitely was worth it. The staff is very inviting and really try to engage patrons, although I was out of the hostel the majority of the time. I was only there really to take showers and sleep, but in the in between times of looking around the place, everyone was friendly and youthful. Overall, I would recommend it. If I had to stay in a hostel again, it would definitely be this one.

Really nice hostel! Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, good facilities. Bathrooms really clean, good and hot showers. The only problem is if you stay in one of the top floors; there's no elevator, so you'll have to face a pretty tough walk up the stairs! Besides that, would certainly reccommend it!

THE BEST STAFF EVER!!!

Good location for visiting the Kensington museums or Hyde park. Bit of a walk to tube stations (5-10 mins) but I felt safe walking by myself at night. Very clean and tidy. There are cages under the bed to store luggage, or lockers in reception for valuables. This hostel is set over 5 or 6 floors, without a lift - so be warned if you have lots of luggage or are unfit! WiFi was pretty fast (I was able to stream a TV program without issue) but is only available in the common areas.

I would definitely stay here again. This hostel didn't have the most social environment but the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and they had towels and locks available to borrow. The location is also really good; Kensington is a safe and beautiful neighborhood. The tube is about a 10-minute walk away.

Great place to stay. Lots of space in the room. Out of the centre of London, but very close to tube and bus routes, so easy to get around the city.

Only annoyance was that there was just one bathroom for our very large dorm. In high season that would probably be annoying. Otherwise it is a very nice hostel with good facilities and location. Recommended.

Little loud, large dorms, but stellar location and building. Breakfast was also better then expected.

This Hostel is fantastic!!! It's not a party hostel, but there are a lot of young people to meet and chat with, But if you want to stay on your own it's ok as well. It's quiet and relaxed so you can sleep without any problem even in a 12 beds room. The staff work a lot to keep everything clean and satisfy every need, and they're always smiling and corteous. The kitchen is fully equipped, breakfast is ok. The living room is great, with cosy sofas, big tv and wifi. Good price, excellent service!

I love this hostel. This was my second time staying - I tried a different hostel just because I wanted to see another part of London, but I regretted it so much that I moved to Astor after just one night. I would come back without a second though next time I am in London. Thanks for a great stay!

I love this hostel and would have stayed forever if I could. The location is amazing, the staff are really fun and friendly, the kitchen is the best I have ever seen in a hostel and the dorm rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds.
