Nice hostel: good value for your money. Only the very basic facilities are available in the rooms, but the rooms are definitely quite big, which is nice, and the beds are very comfortable. The location is great, short walk to Oxford Street etc, and right next to the British Museum. I would stay here again.

We had a great stay at the museum hostel in London. There are 2 things I would like to mention. 1. Only people between 18-35 are allowed to stay in the hostel. This could be announced on the website. 2. The showers were a little bit tricky. There were 2 showers on our floor. One of them was constantly cold and the other one had very low power. However, for a short trip it works.

This place wasn't cheap for what it was but maybe this is standard for London. We had a twin private, not in the main building & a share b/room which was 2-3floors down. Walls were paper thin & there was a dorm next to us meaning lots of ppl & we heard everything, plus doors were heavy and always banged waking us constantly. It was pretty poor compared to other hostels we stayed in, no towels available & everything a hassle. Positives were that staff were nice, place laid-back & location great.

good place for a short break

The room was really too small for six people; there was no space anywhere to leave luggage. There was a sink in the room, but it was quite dirty, and the floor around it was spattered with toothpaste. When I arrived, my bed still had dirty sheets on it from the previous person; but the girl at reception was very friendly and even made the bed for me. There were not enough toilets (only four in the whole hostel I think).

Excellent place to stay. Staff was very helpful, we asked to have breakfast half an hour early and they sure had everything out for us.. It is very close to the train station, about 2 blocks.. I would definitely stay here again.

the staff was really helpful & fun. free wifi would have been nice because otherwise they charge 1 pound for 40 min. also, they rent towels, but they were out while i was there & i had to go buy one, so i´d suggest bringing your own. pretty much everything was average except the staff & the location -- it was only a ten minute walk to leicester square & most of the sites were within walking distance or a 15 min. max tube ride. overall, decent place to stay if you´re in london.

This hostel was pretty good especially the location. The problem was that the room I was in looked onto the street via quite a large window and the curtain didnt quite cover it so getting changed wasnt very private! There was also no towels left so I had to go shower at my friends hotel, not good! Everything else was fine though for the price!

Unbelievable location, totally affordable, staff very friendly, breakfast included. I got a lot more than I needed and for a lot let than I thought I'd be paying for London. Thanks very much ^_^

They put us in the other building, room 7. I don't know for the other rooms, but ours was very dirty, mouse traps around the building. When asked for locks, not available, When asked for AC adapter, not available, When asked for printer, not working. Breakfast was OK. Beds are OK.

this is perfectly located, close to two underground stations, very cool staff, amazing value for money and activities organised by the staff everyday. Probably one of the best hostel I've ever stayed in...

A nice place in a great location. Really helpful staff and friendly travelers. Nice complimentary breakfast. It wasn't the cleanest place though, and the electricity in our room didn't work one of the nights. But, it's in a nice location and the staff are more than happy to help. A pretty good price, too.

Great mistake. 20 pounds per bed!. NOT RECOMMENDED EVEN 4 THE LOCATION.They sent us to a part of the hostel in other street, empty of staff,with no security (only a stupid locker behind the bed for which you need to have a padlock before (if you move the bed, it's easy to stealth everything)), dirty and old room, uncomfortable and disgusting distribuition (washbasin only in the room), not any place to leave your towel while you are having a shower, and no free wifi. EXPENSIVE,DIRTY,INSECURE.

Our room was very untidy with coffee stains on the cupboard, dirty teacups, socks and candy wrappers on the floor the previous customer had left there. Room was also freezing cold.

Amazing location, very friendly staff, the free breakfast is good and has good selection, especially for a hostel, clean enough rooms and individual showers!

The atmosphere in the hostel was just perfect! It felt like a big students' house full of people coming from all over the world! :)

Perfect for what I needed- just a bed to sleep in for a night. Clean, good location, very friendly staff!

The staff was wonderfully helpful and the location was amazing. The only thing that might have been nice was if the staff had a wider knowledge of the amenities near them. I didn't mind having to find things myself but I had the luxury of time.

towels, locks and adaptors for the current should be available in a hostel, in exchange of a deposit, without the need to buy them.
