Even though I gave bad rates for cleanliness, I really did enjoy my stay. The location is very convenient, as was the key provided to each roommate: everyone could enjoy one's stay freely.

Simply the best hostel in town!

Had a great time in London at the Astor Museum! We met the staff and they were super friendly and right around our age. We hung out with the staff in the hostel basement, which is a kitchen and commons area, and ended up going out together at the Brick Lane scene. We had a blast during our two days in London and would definitely recommend this hostel to any travelers in between the ages of 18 and 25! If I ever go back to London, I know where I'm staying!

too much noise in the hostel, no light in the room, towels really expensive to hire (first time I have to hire a towel, normally it is free!)

I forgot something from my room. And the answer of the Hostel was that it probably was trow away. Not a normal reaction if I stayed there 2 days before. So lose nothing, because there is NO Lost and Found (not even for two days) Also the key system is not working, after 2 wrong keys, finally I got the right key (located in the annex building)

El hotel no es de buena calidad. Sin embargo, si no se es muy pretencioso, por ese precio es la mejor opcion en relacion a la ubicacion. No es tu lugar si estas buscando espacio y comodidad por una semana.

I cannot rate Astor Museum Inn highly enough! I have stayed in a few different hostels in London but now I always go back here because it really is the best,. The staff are lovely and fun and always helpful, the location is incredible, easy to walk to Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Picaddily Circus and obviously right next to the British Museum and numerous attraction so great if you want culture. I honestly do love this place!

Really great hostel, had a problem while I was in London and the staff were super helpful in helping me sort it out. Would definitely stay again!

- Noisy and small rooms (around 4 m2, just enough for two beds placed head to toe), mould in the shower, very poor breakfast, staff has a problem-solving capability of zero. They had not thought of a solution for people who leave the room at different times, almost made us reclaim the 10 pound deposit and pay again on arrival. Come on people! Just write a note or something. Or count your keys or whatever. + You can come in any time you like, possibility of leaving bags after checking out.

The hostel is clean and quiet. However, the cleaning staff threw out a bunch of my stuff when I was out during the day. So put everything in your locker or they will throw out your PJs and toothbrush!

As someone who has stayed in several hostels throughout London I can say from experience that Astor Museum is a rare gem. Particularly if you are travelling alone, this is the hostel for you, as the staff are the most fun, friendly and amazing people you are likley to meet in London, and are always up for a night on the town! Thanks for everything guys, I would come back in a heart beat! xx

The staff is nice, but they're always crazy and drunk. There is party every night, so if you like it, great! Otherwise, it might be tough to sleep. Another bad thing is the internet: you have to pay 08 pounds and it's not a very good service. One good thing is that there's free milk, tea and butter all day long, and the kitchen is open until 02 am!

This hostel was the worst one I've ever stayed at, and I've got a limited amount of space to say why. They're very dis-organised & despite a single booking for 3 nights, I had to check out of my room after the first night by 10am, and re-check in at 2pm. The lockers were actually metal cages under the bed, and when you opened them, it was metal screaming against metal, which made it easy to wake others in the room. You could also reach into the metal cage via the top, so it was not very secure.
