The age limit is actually 34, not 35 as it says on the website. That means you can be 34, but 35 is not allowed. The hostel is right across from the British Museum, with cycle rentals right across the street. The kitchen is well equipped and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you!

AWESOME! :) It was one of the best hostel I have been!!!!! The room was clean and big, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean but a bit small, kitchen was clean and the breakfast was really good for an hostel! (Nutella included). Anyway the best thing was the staff!!!!!!!!!!! Friendly, Funny, Useful (clubbing, sightseeing, museum), Available, Different languages spoken (English, Spanish, French),Party People, Beautiful People, Honest, etc. etc. So all of them were great!

I had a wonderful time at Astor. The staff are all very friendly and I never felt uncomfortable. I would recommend to anyone who needs to stay in London. I a real five star experience.

The bathrooms could have been cleaner but the rooms were clean and the location was good. The luggage lockers were very noisy under the beds.

This would be a great hostel to be in if you we're travelling in a group but if you are solo it can be tough to meet other people. The pros are pretty good free breakfast, fast wifi and awesome location. The cons are no wifi in the annexe where my room was and not enough toilets/showers/power outlets. As this is the off season it seemed like pretty much everyone in the hostel was either a staff member or a large group that weren't really interested in meeting other people.

We had a great time in Astor Museum! The location is amazing, you can do everything by walk which saved us money from the metro. Everything is pretty clean, the kitchen is available for everyone to use and there's a very chilled and fun atmosphere. The staff is awesome! Very helpful and make you feel at home. Thanks Carolina, Nick, Ines, Malaka and everyone else for making us have such a good time in London. I would definitely be back.

A very good hostel if you're travelling alone and hoping to meet people. Unfortunately the downstairs rooms can be really noisy though as they are very close to the common areas. It also lacked security compared with other hostels I have been in (no proper lockers). Overall a great place to stay though, in a really good location.

A well situated hostel which was clean and comfortable. Nothing out of the ordinary or surprisingly amazing, just a good, solid standard place to sleep.

Great location next to the British Museum. The beds are comfortable. The only problem was the lack of power plugs (just 1 in our 8-person beds).

My girlfriend and I have stayed here twice. We haven't stayed at another hostel in London, but we don't have a reason to change. The hostel itself is pretty clean. The sheets are always clean. The staff is great. The breakfast isn't bad. Location isn't bad depending join where you want to be. It's not a far walk from Holborn or Russell Square underground.

For one night it was ok, but there are far better hostels to stay in London. Bed was not even, so I were rolling down, no light at the bed

The hostel is very well located, I walked I several places and it was close to the underground and bus stops. Bed and blankets very comfortable! Not so cheap but it's London after all!

Brilliant location in a nice part of London, so close to tourist attractions such as British Museum. Very sociable hostel, laid back atmosphere. Basic enough but price isn't too expensive so I would go back again.

We had a wonderful time in London and Astor Inn was really a part of it, we really like the place and felt like home, in it. The stuff was helpful and they really work in an order eventhough they seem like free souls with an attitude :D Only thing i can concern is the thing about mice in the place, it says "dont bring food to the rooms it would cause mouses to come" so we didnt brought any food to the room and no mice did come, but still it was a little bit tense.. Thanks for everything :)
