The location of the hostel is excellent. And considering that it is located almost in the center of London, the price is quite reasonable. The rooms have a funny smell and if you keep your clothes in the lockers, they will pick up the smell. I saw some reviews mentioning mice. I stayed in the hotel for almost a week and haven't come across any mouse, so maybe that's an exaggeration. Security is okay, you can rent a padlock. All in all, not the best hostel, but I would recommend it.

The location was excellent, but I couldn't sleep because of the noise of the other guests. It's incredible that the staff allow this kind of behaviour. In spite of the good location, i wouldn't never recommend this hostel to anyone.

I founf the astor museum a great place to stay. It was my first trip abroad and I found myself really lucky when I got here. The place is great, the staff is really friendly and I'm two blocks away from everything in London (oxford street, underground stations, restaurants. I'm really satisfied with this hostel.

Having free towels, free internet/computer access, and free breakfast was great. Also, cute shower curtains!

WELL... This would have to be the best hostel I have stayed in over my 5 months in Europe. I was suprised at how clean and friendly it was despite some of the reviews. The staff were extremely cool, they were friendly and welcoming. Thank you to Ines, Liz, JJ, Chris, Byron, Borja and all the other staff I have failed to mention for being so hospitable and making my weeks in London memorable ones. I will miss thisplace, hope you all have a Merry Christmas

They don't have wifi in the room only had a plug and that did not work well. The washer machine didn't work and a friend who forgot towel had to buy one. The staff was not very friendly, and at times stupid.

rude staff. i stayed at the annex, severe lack of facilities, can't even boil water... you have to walk back to the main hostel if you want anything... poor security - anyone can go in and out anytime even at night

The showers were excellent, the linen clean, and the location sublime. The under-bed lockers were very handy, and breakfast helpful to start my day and help my budget. The staff were not at all rude, just a bit inattentive; though I'm sure if I had to deal with hundreds of blonde tourists every day, I wouldn't be perfect, either!

The staff is friendly but not organized and the rooms are a mess. Maybe because the location is so great they didint invest in the hostel.

Very nice hostel! Clean, super staff, enormous kitchen, great atmosphere (with the chance to participate or not). The Bloomsbury area they're located in is fantastic. I would for sure stay here again.

SO MUCH FUN! :) This hostel was my home in London. The staff we great, super friendly, very cool bunch of kids (I miss them already!) . The rooms are nice, everything you need is there, lockers under the beds, never had to wait for a hot shower, great kitchen and so cheap for being right in the heart of London! Awesome bunch of people, made my first time in London the best I could possibly have asked for. :) Thank you guys!

Great location next to the Br. museum. Staff friendly when asked for help but seemed to have their own party with their friends going on in the only common area available, music was loud and they didn't show too much interest in the possible inconvenience that would cause for guests. There were mice running in the dorm room. Poor breakfast (good coffee though). Good beds, clean linen. Ok soundproofing. More hooks/shelves in the bathroom and reading lights in the dorm room would be nice.

The hostel is very dirty but is in an awesome location, which almost (depending on your priorities) makes up for it. Wifi not included (one pound for 40 minutes). The breakfast was good, and rooms were pretty good too.

I really enjoyed my stay. I was traveling alown an everyone there made me feel at home. It is defiantly a small family at this hostel and I was lucky to be able to be appart of it for a little bit.
