Hi guys! This place has a great atmosphere with amazing staff. The most socially active hostel I've stayed. The staff involve themselves going out with the guests with daily activities planned. Really enjoyed my stay and would come back.
The hostel had me switch rooms halfway through my stay, which wasn't a big deal, but it was inconvenient. Would've been cool if they did something to make it up. The first room I was in was great. The second one wasn't at all. It was really hot, and it didn't seem like there was AC. Even with the window open and a floor fan, it was bad. And I had to talk to 3 different people to get the sheets changed because there were brown marks down them.
Loved my stay at Astor Queensway, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and there was a nice community within the hostel. Excellent location for walking through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park over to major attractions, well connected to the London Underground and bus systems.
overall no real complaints, location is good and the rooms were a bit warm but during warmer weather that is not a shock. the staff where very polite and helpful and would consider staying here again.
No problems with my stay but there didnt seem much of a social atmosphere - the norm for English hostels.
I stayed at the Queensway for about a week and was rather sad to leave it behind. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and its a nice quiet vibe. By the time it was time to move on to another hostel I could not conceive of staying anywhere else. I stayed in an 8-person room. While it'd be nice to have a reading light or a curtain over my bunk, the beds were comfy. My room, being on the 6th floor, was warm, but nothing an open window could not fix - the street is relatively quiet.
Excellent staff, very friendly. The hostel itself is very clean, nice atmosphere and, of course excellent location. I would definitely recommend it for staying!
Excellent hostel and staff! Definetely recommend for staying.
Space was a bit limited in the rooms, especially the ensuite shower. Other than that, staff was friendly and rooms were clean.
The staff here (especially Becky) are awesome and super friendly.
Room 61 was kind of a owen. Even with a ventilator, the temperature was far to high. Last floor restroom was too small Room was too small. Price was too expensive for this kind of ho(s)tel. Breakfast was good for the price.

Beds were comfortable and the people were very friendly! About a 5 minute walk from the tube. If you want to make sure you and your friends are in the same room, book together. My group got split up into different rooms because we came in late and all booked separately. We would definitely stay with Astor again!
Nice staff, easy check-in and check-out, comfortable bed, good breakfast. My only small complaints would be the room is kind of hot, but with the provided fan it ends up comfortable, and the bathroom was kind of dirty looking, very warm, and a little smelly. But that didn't really affect anything else, so overall it was a great stay. Just make sure if you are with a group to book together if you want to be in the same room. We ended up a little scattered! Ended up okay, met some new people!

Had a great time. Both the staff and guests were really friendly. The location and facilities are great value for money.
The staff was phenomenal. Super Helpful and full of useful information. The whole atmosphere of the place was beyond my expectations.
Very guest-friendly hostel in a beautiful silent place! Free breakfast (actually, for 0,5GBP donation for somebody), nice staff and activities!
I had a great time at Astor Queensway, which happened to be the first hostel I have ever been to. The staff was very kind, attentive, and took the time to get to know you. There were nightly events that hostelers could attend to get to know each other and the staff. The group of hostelers were very international. I would definitely come back again!
Very cloudy check-in day. Very sunny checkout day.
I liked its proximity to Hyde park and the Queensway tube stop. The hostel was eclectic and unfortunately had a noisy group of American students staying there the same time we were. Sadly there is no elevator and the climb to the top floor is pretty exhausting (at least they will offer to take your bags up for you!) Beware of the showers though, a bit cramped and the shower curtain was quite musty. Also, it would be nice if there was a light or an electric outlet by each bed.
