Astor Quest

Astor Quest is in the upscale neighbourhood of Bayswater, beside Oxford Street, Hyde Park and Portobello market. Hostelworld guests say they appreciate that the hostel is 'within walking distance of the Queensway and Bayswater tube stations'. Great for all backpackers, close to Notting Hill Gate, the Quest is perfect for the independent traveller and small student groups.

The hostel offers a friendly intimate atmosphere, great murals, and brand-new beds with security lockers underneath them. The dormitory rooms range in size from four to eight beds per room. Most of the rooms have ensuite shower and toilet facilities. There are toilets and showers on each floor for the few rooms which aren't ensuite.

Our hostel features a free valuables lock-up, a fully-equipped kitchen, cable and satellite TV, DVD and video player, a laundrette and a great chill-out lounge for socialising or enjoying movies and music.

It's close to heaps of great attractions like Hyde Park, Kensington Palace (Princess Diana's residence), Portobello Market and Whiteley's Shopping centre. The Bayswater area is also full of friendly pubs, cafés and restaurants that keep you busy during the evening. There's no curfew.

The Quest is a great hostel for making friends and to enjoy all the sights London has to offer. All staff live on the premises and are young travellers like yourself!
