The Astor Quest staff was extremely friendly and informative. They were very professional and willingly answered the million questions I had. The atmosphere they have created there was incredible. I couldn't recommend this place more highly! I would go back again and again. Definitely stay here if you are looking to meet fun and incredibly nice people. The kitchen is huge and the lounge is awesome. The rooms are typical for a hostel. This is a must stay for backpackers.

The hostel was in a safe area right off hyde park and had free breakfast. The bathroom was pretty filthy but the place smelled like cleaning fluid...weird.

The rule of not accepting people older than 35 made me rage! This is discriminative. What's more I was told after the reservation. I believe I'll be a backpacker 'till I kick the bucket.

We loved the staff at the Astor Quest Hostel, especially Jon, the manager, and Alessandro, who'd been really welcoming and made our stay comfortable from the first day. We would love to come back anytime!

This hostel was good. It was close to two underground stations. It had kitchen facilities you can use. People were very friendly.

Rooms quite small, but under bed locker to store stuff out of way, really only problem was shower and bathroom on different floors, and the could have been a little cleaner, cleaned everyday but only a few for the whole hostel so lots of use. Great atmosphere! Close to two tube stations, restaurants near by, but need to take the metro for nightlife.

Really enjoyed our stay here but we were also out of the hostel a lot of the time. The showers were fantastic, always hot and with plenty of water pressure. I would note however that the windows in the room had to be propped open to keep it from getting too hot, which especially let in the noise of trash collectors around 6-8 am and woke me up every day. Although not the hostel's fault, of course. Staff friendly and helpful, particularly when we had very noisy neighbors. I would stay here again.

Very friendly and funny Stuff! Great hostel to stay very close to Hyde Park (by foot) and City (tube). We were actually just there to sleep and breakfast, but this was all very sathisfying! The house is a typically english "londonish" house, really nice! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and had great fun and chats with other guests and especially with staff members. If we go again to London, this will be our host again! :-) Cheers

Good place to stay with very friendly staff. Bunk beds were comfortable. Only bad thing is that there are only stairs...which sucks with heavy baggage!

This was one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff are all young and travelers themselves but very knowledgeable about the London area. They always pointed me to interesting things to do in or around the city as well as gave me good advice about places to eat or advice on ways to save money. (Get an oyster card!) The only problem I had was the shower is a bit cramped on the second floor but its manageable. Otherwise its great, and only a minute walk from the Queensway rail station.

I didn't stay very long but I can tell with assurance that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen and bathroom were agreeably clean and well provided, especially the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the sheets very good.

I've heard it's hard to find a good hostel in London, so I was really impressed with Astor Quest. Was usually pretty clean and the staff were really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

The staff at Astor Quest are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a-ok, but the shower could have stood to be a little cleaner. That said, great stay overall.
