Excellent location! Really cool place. The only issue we had was the wifi wasn't very good.

It was my first stay in a hostel, only for a short weekend in London, so I can't really make comparisons to other hostels. I was staying alone, but I felt quite safe. The staff was lovely and ready to help in any way. Good breakfast. Nice location on Hyde Park, near Notting Hill; tube station just around the corner.

Nice place to stay for some days. Excellent location and friendly staff. Missed air condition. Free breakfast, but that was poor. Good security for a hostel. Nice with free wifi. Def value for money.

Very nice hostel! People are very friendly and helpful. Room was silent even though we were six girls, everyone was very polite and respectful. The staff is great, specially Jon. Very clean, several times a day i found they were cleaning the shower and toilets. Also very good shower pressure and they provide apliances and towels for free. Very well located, surrounded by hotels , 2 tube stations, supermarkets and nice restaurants. Definitely coming back!

The place is quite clean and the staff are so nice and helpful. It's so great that they provide us the breakfast. And the hostel is located quite close to the train station, it's so convenient to get there. The only problem is the no lift in the hostel. We need to take our luggage to the fourth or even fifth floor.

I loved it. best hostel i've ever been so far. the staff was way more than excellent. the only problem we had was with the people who came in our room because they were rude and didn't knew how to treat other hostel guests (not because of the noise they made) just because they haven't talked a word with us. the rest was perfect :)

Astor Quest is in a convenient, fairly quiet location quite near to Hyde Park and inner London. The building seems to be a converted apartment building, with many floors and thus, many stairs. Walking to the uppermost floors could be challenging. There seemed to be a shortage of toilets and showers in the main areas, and a really weird in-room shower arrangement (with just a shower curtain and no privacy) in my room. TV room was boiling hot and always filled and I never used it. Generally OK.

The Hostel is good enough for a weekend: location, cleanliness and facilities were fine for me and friends. The only thing I have to say is that the staff who was working there wasn´t very proficient: we had booked a 6 mixt bedroom a month before our stay there and they wanted to split us in 2 different bedrooms. We could sleep together finally but we had to wait 5 hours!!! for a suitable solution for me and friends (without any benefit for us, by the way)....Bad experience with the staff.

Good location, free breakfast (but not anything special). The kitchen was small so it's a little bit overcrowded for breakfast, another negative is that in the floor there were only one toilet and one shower.

I thought the staff was nice, but the rooms really were not that clean. It was nice to be able to sit in the kitchen and meet people which was fun!

Definitely my favorite hostel. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The location, though away from the city center, was perfect. Just off the central line and circle line of the tube, though, so easy to get around anywhere. A great place to stay really! I'll be back next time I visit London
