Definitely my favorite hostel. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The location, though away from the city center, was perfect. Just off the central line and circle line of the tube, though, so easy to get around anywhere. A great place to stay really! I'll be back next time I visit London

Honestly, one of the best hostels I stayed at on my travels! The staff were amazing! It felt like a nice little family there - and they welcomed you in right away. Loved the Pirate Party! Yarrrrr ;) Definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance. Right by Hyde Park, super easy to get anywhere, very clean, free breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, super fun place.

All around, a great hostel! Free bread? Yes please! The staff were extremely friendly, and the facilities were clean. I met a lot of really nice people here from around the world, and if I ever have the privilege of coming to London again, this is the hostel I will return to.

A good place to stay if you do not expext anything special. An ordinary hostel in a good sense. There are lockers, quite a comfortable kitchen, the rooms are quite small but not too small. You get what you pay for - and obviously you don't expext to get a five-star-accomodation in a hostel - so if you are realistic, you won't get disappointed.

Enthusiastic and warmest staffs ever. Nice location with lots of restaurants, pubs and stores. Within 5 minutes walks to central line and Picadilly line, you could easily access to various attractions in London.

This hostel is well located, near Hyde Park and a few bus stops from Oxford Street. Staff was nice and helpful. I stayed in a 8 bed room and everything was ok. It was just a bit annoying to wait for the morning shower (everybody decided to take shower at the same time). Overall, it was a good experience.

I had a good time, even though the crowd of people around spring break were young and loud. There were so many free things like towels, breakfast, or small fees for safes, and laundry. It was close to the tube, Hyde Park and small grocery stores. The cute blue haired Australian guy helped me with my bus ticket to the airport and everyone at the desk always could answer any questions I had. I had a blast!

Location is great, team is nice and friendly, but at first no heating in the room, standard of the bathrooms is poor, overall character is o.k., value for money is good in London I guess, which is pretty sad.

Astor Quest was the most welcoming and comfortable hostel I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The staff create a great community that makes all guests feel at ease instantly and are incredibly helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. I would not hesitate to recommend Astor Quest.

As hostels go, Astor Quest was pretty good - the staff was friendly and helpful, the people staying there were outgoing, and there was a well-equipped kitchen. It wasn't the cleanest, however, and we shared one toilet with our entire floor and one shower stall between at least two floors. Be prepared for A LOT of stairs (no elevator plus a thin tall building equals lots of stairs) and bring a large padlock (the locking mechanism on the cages underneath the bed was too big for our locks).

Overall, our stay was not too bad. We liked the free breakfast and the bathrooms in the room, and the staff was friendly. However, it would be nice if the rooms (mainly the bathroom) were cleaned daily. Additionally, the rooms were quite small and crowded. The real issue though was that one of our roommates brought back and slept with another person two nights in a row, which caused tension and restlessness. Of course, this was not the hostel's fault, but the hostel should have better security.

good location, you can reach Portobello and Notting Hill by foot, and well connected with the centre by bus and tube. The receptionists are really nice and helpful, the atmosphere is friendly and easygoing, no noise. The only thing a bit disappointing is the breakfast, not really continental, a bit "poor". Anyway I would recommend it to enjoy a stay in London!

Simply put, Astor Quest is a brilliant place to stay. The staff are awesome, the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable, the location is terrific and the people who were staying here made my week. I've stayed in a lot of hostels and this was easily the best. Perfect for a short stay or a great base from which to explore lovely London. Cheers!

Very very friendly stuff. We really enjoyed the free toast and the breakfast. only the situation with the bathroom was a bit complicatet as it was always difficult to find a free toilet or a free shower.
