Staff were always helpful and nice, no matter what time it was. The rooms weren't spectacular but they were fairly clean and got the job done. It wasn't located in the heart of the city or anything but it was quite close to two tube stops, and being just a minute from Hyde park was also quite nice. Kitchen/breakfast area was basic but an excellent way to meet new people

mReally liked this hostel. It wasnt too expensive while you got a good free breakfast in the morning, the staff were very nice. My biggest complaint is that the rooms were very small and got very hot in the morning. I couldnt keep my luggage in the room cause there wasnt enough space. Otherwise it was clean and lovely.

People here are very friendly and nice~ And the location is really excellent, for it's beside the central line, just cannot be more convenient~

The hostel was really well situated, there's a underground station a minute away. The staff is really nice and really helpful. One of our friends was not in the same room than us and they let her swap rooms. The breakfast is included. It's quite simple but it's good anyway.

I stayed just one night there, it was good enough. The staff was actually really nice, but it didn't have that "hostel feeling" that I experienced before on so many other places. The location is as good as any place in London that can be reachable by the underground, it was just two blocks away from a station.

Good location. Great staff, always willing to help in any way possible. They were very friendly and happy to share their travelling stories. Nice, clean rooms. Would definitely recommend!

Nice, friendly and welcoming hostel. It caters well to a younger crowd having a youthful, laid back, feel. That said this is not a party hostel, no bar or deafening music here. If partying is your scene there's ample chance to head out and find someone willing to. The staff were great and helpful and the rooms were good. It's good for a budget since rooms are on the cheaper side during the week (FYI - booking online tends to be cheaper than in person though). I'd definitely recommend this place.

Good location near two tube stops and Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. Wifi free and good, reaching all floors. Breakfast quite simple but again, it's included,so that's always a plus. Lots of information about things to do around London in the reception area.

Astor Quest =GOLD! Close to two UG stations, shopping, restaurants, pubs etc. Staff = friendly + helpful! Received a warm welcome from the lovely Amanda and Jon, both incredibly informative! My hero James! He helped me with my heavy suitcase to the 6th floor. Only to find out after he was a hostel guest and had a sore hip! What a champ! To James, Scott and Charles - thanks for the entertainment and laughs! I'm sure your mothers will have an "interesting" time when they visit! *Wink wink*

I really enjoyed my time at this hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good mix of travellers staying there. My only complaint would be not enough power points in the rooms (two only).

These guys are awesome! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Basic breakfast of toast and tea, but there are a few breakfast places within walking distance that are very affordable. Laundry facilities are limited to one washer and one dryer but it only costs 3.50 per load. Now, the only drawback is that they do not have a lift, so have fun with those stairs. Great hostel, I would totally come back. Thanks for all the great advice John!

fantastic staff! - so helpfull and nice. great kitchen - would be nice if it could stay open a little after breakfast so you can have a cup of coffee if you´ve had a late night. it got quite stuffy in a 6 bed dorm, but the beds are fine and the linen clean. really great that the free wifi worked in the room. a great hostel.

This was one of the best Hostels that I have been to in London. The staff were lovely and the cleanliness was fantastic. Throughout the morning , we had 3 different cleaners in cleaning the room! I liked the under bed storage cage and the carpet in the room was a good to see as most hostels have gross flooring. I had a great stay and would definately stay here again.
