Great hostel and great staff! Breakfast was really good, basic but always fresh, clean and good. Rooms were tidy however the bathroom on my floor was slightly moldy in places. Only issue I had was with the keycard for the room with it being magnetic other cards would de-activate it, no matter where I put it in my handbag it de-activated every day! Luckily the staff were always super helpful in re-activating the card but perhaps a better system would remove the hassle.

Great hostel and great people. We had a small problem with the toilet but they fixed it immediately. A pretty good breakfast was included and all facilities were clean. I will definitely go back to this hostel in my next trip to London. Great value for price!

Really clean, comfortable, available stuff to do (i.e. pub crawl!), and that feeling that you want in a hostel.

The staff was nice upon arrival, helped with my luggage and offered to keep it safe in the common room until actual check-in. I could also leave my laptop in the reception, very kind! The room was over my expectations and I shared it with 3 awesome girls. No problem with que to toilet or showers and breakfast was ok, everything was good for the price. Only minus would be that the fire-alarm went off in the middle of the night because of some idiots smoking inside, but apart from that, I enjoyed!

I didn't like the hostel as a whole. The staff was arrogant and nasty. It looked like they were doing us a favor, while we were paying to stay there. Absolutely I never will recommend this hostel. It was the worst hostel I've been. Without mention the cleaning.

Room was to small for four of us, but it was clean. It was to warm, you allways need to have your windows open even in the middle of winter. Bathroom was not clean enought. We were there five days and it was more than enought in that small place. Atmosphere and staff were very good. Location great!

I had an amazing stay at Astor Quest. The staff is absolutely great! I know it's not situated on Piccadilly, but it's very at Bayswater, which is a very nice place and just a few steps from Hyde Park. If you want to chill, they have a nice tv room. The breakfast is excellent and they clean the bathrooms every day if I am not wrong.

Loved the cosy homely environment. Every night they hold activities which is a big +. Lounge with internet and tv with great selection of movies. Full Clean kitchen and not bad free brekkie. Room and bathroom was clean. Pleasant all round.

Very welcoming staff. Add-ons like padlocks quite expensive. Still well worth the price.

You don´t have locker; just a luggage store. You don´t have elevator, neither, so take that into account if you have problems for taking stairs. The breakfast is okay, as well as the location; two blocks from Queensway station (red line)

First of all the location is perfect, it is very close to many shops, restaurants and bars as well as a tube and many bus station. The staff is nice, but they are not very likely to actually start a conversation with you or build the kind of atmosphere where one meets new people easily. The hostel is clean(except the shower curtains) and the rooms are okay, although the beds are a little small. I still slept pretty good, it was fairly quite.

Toilet was filthy, there was hair in the sink, and in the basement toilet they had a random assortment of left toothbrushes, razors, shampoos and other toiletries. Who wants to use a stranger's toothbrush? Seriously, guys, throw them out. The sheets were in piles in front of the check-in desk (for laundering?). We heard the breakfast is great, but it isn't served till 8 and we had an early flight to catch. Would consider staying again because a good breakfast is hard to find in a British hostel.
