The room had no blinds so it was difficult to get much sleep past 6am - not ideal! The room was also a tad stuffy and hot. It didn't have much of a social atmosphere. Really good location though, a nice quiet part of London to stay in.

Good location, short walk to the tube, conected to everything. The best part was the staff really warm and high spirited, they made the stay so much better. They web page says they have laundry, but its just one machine for the entire hostel, and they use it to wash towels for the hostel too, we had to stay up late to get to use it and there was a long line of people behind us, so don't count much on it, it was really cheap though, 3£ for wash&dry. Breakfast was a bit cahotic, but you manage.

most welcoming hostel I've been at. I liked how there was a person on at all times. Very accommodating and gave very good recommendations for restaurants, pubs etc...

I enjoyed it and was great being so close to Victoria coach station where I arrived plus the price was brilliant too and enjoyed my stay but only wish there could have been a cooked breakfast in the morning...I know it was free and the toast was yummy but was just a shame there wasn't some kind of fryup avalaible or even cold drinks like Orange apply/juice :(

Great location. The staff was just lovely and really helpful with a problem we had. Otherwise, some of the smaller rooms were so cramped that it was difficult to move around in them especially with luggage. Breakfast was nice.

I'd love to see less "items to be rented for x ammount of money". For example if I'd like to use a European charger then I dont like the fact that you asked 5£ just to rent it.

We had a good stay at the Astor Victoria. It was easy to find (just a 5 or so min. walk from Pimlico tube station), in a good location and clean. The kitchen was very big and there were many options at breakfast. The shower & sink in the bathroom was really convient (however, the shower curtain [room 36] was virtually useless..too small and didn't stop the water from escaping). The staff were very kind and helpful; & it was nice to see young people from various countries working in the hostel!

Really easy to get from Victoria Coach Station. The breakfast is OK and some facilities, such as common room and kitchen, are good. The size of the room of 8 is small, but I don't see a problem in it. What is a problem is the size of the shower cabin and the thickness of the blanket, that make me sweat a lot. They could have a bed sheet.

Dear Hostelworld! I can't review Astor Victoria as we were moved to another hostel called Astor Museum, because of a booking mistake. Astor told us that Hostelworl(you) have done this before and I just wanted to make you aware of this problem! We were moved to another hostel and got a minor discount, but it still was a big trouble for us! Hope you correct this mistake, so it will not happen again.

Well equipped, well serviced, well staffed, all round professional and everything you need hostel. Nothing particuarly unique or amazing about it - just a Really Good safe bet that is value for money in the nice quiet west-end. The breakfast is definitely welcomed and good kitchen facilities at other times to boot. Good wifi, comfy enough beds with lockers underneath. Rooms a bit cramped, but hey its London. Very warm rooms, too warm for my hot-blood, but a lot better than the cold. Good stay :)

Decent hostel. Room was narrow but clean. Showers had hot water. Good breakfast selection. Closest tube station is Pimlico, which only has the Victoria line, but was also walking distance to Victoria.

Was a bit annoyed with the booking - apparently booking 4 beds in a 4 bed room does not guarantee that you will all be together - we were split up all over the hostel
