Very well located, spacious hostel. A lot of place to seat and be with other people, very energetic staff, nice, clean rooms. The only thing which was missing was something to put your staff on while showering - some shelf or box.

A good, friendly place to stay the night in London. My only gripe would be the shower being too hot to stand under!

If you stay at any hostel in London, stay here. Excellent staff, location, bedding, facilities and good vibes all around. Wish it were more available on the weekends, but that is just a testament to how fine a hostel Astor Victoria is!

The lockers under the beds are very noisy, and the kitchen (right next to some of the dorms) was host to a very noisy game of footbag (I think) late one night - staff seemed unconcerned as they went in and out of the staff room - I think they were off duty but not the point! Otherwise the hostel was fine and I'd stay again if I was in the area.

There were these very large cage lockers under all the bunk beds, they were huge and I could easily fit my backpack and random other things in there! Good breakfast in the morning (typical hostel breakfast) and the staff was amazing! Really helpful and great people to hang out with!!

We have not been allowed to use the room, which we did book because of our age (one was 3 months to young and one was too old. And it is very difficult to change your booking at the last minute. The conditions of age should absolutely be indicate in a very visible way during the booking, and not in very small characters at the end of the general conditions that nobody takes the time to read. PS: I answered at all questions with the mark "average", just to be able to send this comment.

Not a fan of the 2 p.m check in and 10 a.m check out (on a Sunday?!) Only one of the staff seemed friendly, the others were not. The windows in the room were blacked out so it was very dark and not very clean, blocked sink in the room. I was quite surprised that the key to the luggage room was given out to guests without supervision so I wouldn't have left anything there that had any value.

Nice place, friendly staff, good location but not very clean, the service is not very attentive, we had to wait ages to check-in (the receptionist was away), the room was dirty.

Except the non-working toilets this was a perfect stay!

Chewing-gums & mold onto the windows, obstructed outflows. Dirty bathroom, no place where smokers can smoke at night, cause on street it's too loud? Think of it... and you should really clean the windows in room 3. It's disgusting.

It was a central place and the staff was very helpfull. The beds were clean and comfortable. Although the showers were very dirty, toilets didnt work, the rooms were very small and no curtains or window to open.. Also breakfast wasnt great: messy and dirty dishes. We had a nice stay because we were only there to sleep and the location was very good, but dont know if we would go back!

Everything but the bathrooms/showers was great. They were a bit dirty, mostly the showers.

The dining areas are very small and it can get very busy at certain times, particularly in the evenings, so there is little or no where to sit. The two kitchens will also get very busy at these times too. The televisions in the dining areas did not work, and probably haven't in a long time, it would've been nice to just chill and watch television.

It's the perfect place for staying some days with friends in a good location in London not so expensive. The staff was so kind and there weren't any problem at all. Perhaps it could be possible to create a better method at breakfast time because there were a "traffic jam" of people around the tables with food by putting some jars in the tables... I will recommend this place to my friends!
