In my room there weren't enough sockets to plug phones and pcs for everybody.

The hostel feels like it's ran by high schoolers - the expected level of professionalism isn't there at all. The staff don't knock before coming into the room, the walls had painters take on them but they weren't doing any painting, the bathrooms and showers were always dirty. And the room size is very cramped, I kept hitting my head on the bunk-beds

just the perfect cheap hostel in london. Clean rooms and bathrooms, nice atmosphere and a good breakfast(nothing exceptional, but good).

I booked this hostel after having stayed at the Astor Museum previously. It was a similarly good hostel. The location was great, especially if you're coming from Victoria Coach Station (or the train station). The kitchen is a bit crowded but well set-up. I'd definitely return here.

The hostel is okay but the 6 bed dorm I stayed in was very small. Unfortunately, they don't have any rules they present at the check-in or in the room. In consequence, the people in my room threw all their stuff on the floor, didn't care about me when I asked them to switch the light off at midnight; Positive: big kitchen, clean facilities, good location, multiple common rooms, lockers (under the bed) in the room and at the reception, adapter rental.. The hostel is very big, some hundred beds

Beds were very comfortable and location was great. Not enough bathrooms/toilets though and those that they had were dirty or under stocked. Security was pretty lax around front door, but you needed a key card to get into your room. Luggage storage not really well guarded. Good if you're in a pinch getting off from Victoria Station, but I don't think I'd stay again.

stayed here for the 2nd time; it's been as enjoyable as the the first one. the dorm was a tad too tiny for 6 persons, yet it didn't bother us that much. the toilets and showers are OK; just don't set your Standards too high when staying in a hostel. nice additions have been the (very basic) free breakfast & linen and the friendly staff, plus the location's just excellent. i'd stay here for a 3rd time!

The room was SO cold, there was no heating. People had obviously in desperation tried to keep some of the cold air out by tucking paper into the vents on the window. And the shower was ever only luke warm, at best. The water in the sink in the room and in the toilet was ice cold, and the trash wasn't taken out when we got our room. Never going back there, that's for sure.

Hello! I really liked my stay in the hostel, but there are a few thinks that could be better for exemple, the computers coud be a place where could have privacy when using them and not being watched, at the same time, because they are in the same place as the t.v. and in the room, people dont really respect others, like they come any time and make lots of noise, there are no presence light, just the main light whish distorbs whos sleeping. otherwise i loved it,thank u for your simpathy.

I can only highly recommend Astor Victoria! It was already my 3rd stay there (& I'll definintely come again). The location is fantastic. Wheter Big Ben or Buckingham Palace they are within 20 min walking distance. Another great feature about the location is that Victoria station is a public transport hub. The basic breakfast also fits a traveller's requirements :) Additionally a Sainsburys (grocery) and other shops, bars and restaurants are just around the corner. Friendly staff too :-)

Great location, in a beautiful street! The atmosphere is familiar and the staff is nice and available. I think that cleaning could be much better, rooms and showers have always something dirty, especially the carpets room.

Very big hostel, easy to met lots of people. It was in a very central place, easy to get to things in the city. The kitchen was HUGE, and the staff were really helpful. The only downside was the shower was cold and one of the bathrooms didn't lock properly.

This place felt very secure, and its location right by Victoria station can't be beaten! We arrived late at Victoria Coach station, and it was nice not having to hop onto the Underground late at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the place seemed pretty clean. The showers were a little tricky to figure out at first, though, haha.

Sometimes water doesn't flow well at the shower and the sink in our room. But others are perfect and I really enjoyed my first stay in London.

I didn't have enough time to enjoy the hostel, because I went in business. But the bed was really comfortable, clean, the room was warm, and the environment was as quiet as possible. It's perfectly located, very central and only 10 min away from victoria by walking. It was perfetc for my short stay. I will come back to Astoria for sure on the next time I visit London.
