Excellent, the staff was very helpfull and kind. I\'ll recommend this hotel.

the hotel was really easy to find from the train station as it was sign posted, so this was a good start. I booked a double ensuit room and it was really cheap, it wasn't in the main hotel but was in an apartment complex that we were brought to by one of the staff (in a car) it was only about 5mins walk from the hotel though. the apartment was actually closer to the city. It was a really big room with a kitchen and a big bathroom. It was a lot more than we were expecting and it was really clean.

Breakfast was really good.

The staff was very rude. Our reservation was cancelled because we arrive late (at 9 pm) and they tried to charge to the credit card the total amount. Since they could not charge the card they cancelled the room. When we arrived they had rooms available, but they wanted we to pay more than the amount showed in our reservation. I think they are not very honest. For the rest, the hotel has good location and is very clean. If you choose it, be sure to phone in advance to confirm the room.

I had a really good stay at the Astoria Hotel. The location is excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, everything was very clean and the furniture was in a good condition, the breakfast was also very good (not just the normal italian: one croissant and a coffee, it was a rich buffet!). All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel. It is not a luxury hotel, but for that price, very good!

Really nice for something advertising on hostel world but not on the nicest side of town. It's near the train station which is convienient but also in a sketchy neighborhood. The hotel itself is wonderful. Nice breakfast if you wake up early enough. The wifi works great. They also have bikes you can borrow which is a great way to explore the city.

We booked one room for two people and we got an apartment with bathroom, kitchen, and tv-sat. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed it! :) We recommend this hotel to everyone!

The staff wasn't very helpfull and nice (for example: we have to wait 2 hours for our room, 3 times we came for breakfast and they didn't bother to respond to our "hello"...). The bathroom near to the dining room was dirty and there wasn't paper or soap. There was a problem with breakfast - the guests were shocked that there wasn't enough to eat for all. It was worse than in every hostel in Italy we were. We left disapointed.

It was not clear that the rooms were 'Apartment-rooms' at about 500m from the hotel. The breakfast was just decent. Salty things finished at 9h and only some salami was replenished on request. Breakfast was supposed to be until 9.30.

Hotel was great. We ended up having one of the apartments which was fantastic. Breakfast finishes too early (9:30am) so we just bought some from the nearby grocery stores. Great value for money. We will definitely return and it is highly recommended

Highly recommended! Everything was great in our apartment, starting with huge bed, clean and new bathroom and grat location. If you add tasty and varied breakfast, you get the perfect place to stay in Bologna!

A great place to stay not far away from Bologna centre... friendly staff, who give good instructions, both on restaurants and other things.. We wanted a good place to eat not so expensive and they gave us instructions to a good 'student' restaurant with REAL Spagetthi Bolognese for just €6. Will definately use in the future...

Located very close to the train station and a 10 min walk to the center of town. Great breakfast!! Stayed in the apartment right next to the hotel and it was fine. Came with a stove, kitchen table, slept four. Bathroom was clean. Staff answered all of our questions and gave us a great recommendation for dinner (Pirate).

Nice and very clean. A big double bed. Fortunately it was very warm at night (central heating - I was there in winter).

Very good HOTEL (not a hostel). Very clean and secure. 24hrs staff. Towels and soup in the bathroom. Very good breakfast. And vert cheap for all those things. If I go back to bologna, i will stay there again.

We booked a room and they gave us an apartment 500 with 4 big beds and a great kitchen and bathroom. Far more comfortable than expected!
