nice quite place, I would recommend this place. not to much interaction with others but we used it as just a place to spend the night.

This was one of the most wonderul places I ever stayed at! The staff were all extremly kind and helpful, the room was hugh and very clean. The outside bach and family bath are both really nice, I could relaxe a lot. And after coming back to my room, the futon was already set for the night! If I have a chance, I definitely will stay at Asukaso again!

Truly sensational in all respects! HUGE room - more like an apartment than a hotel room. Loved the maids in their kimono. Stayed there on our last night in Japan - what a way to end our trip. If only we had discovered Asukaso and Nara earlier. One teensy 'criticism' was the futons were quite hard and thin (had stayed on futons elsewhere and they were softer) but you could easily just double them up as there were spares in the cupboard. Nice public baths too. Excellent, excellent, excellen...
