This place was great!! small enough to start to really get to know the other people staying there but big enough that you were always meeting people too! DONT miss out on Mad Monday!! The people are amazing, the location is great, and so easy to get around Sydney from there!! I would definitely stay there again! My favourite hostel in Sydney by a long shot! Small but not packed like sardines in a can like others. Has a great buzz, plenty of friendly travellers.My favourite hostel in Sydney by a long shot! The supplied meals were of a poor standard and an evening meal consists of more than a small amount of chips and a savaloy sausage. Breakfast was definatelty as budget as one could get. The room was disgusting. It was dirty. blanket for a curtain. The bed go along with the rest of the place CHEAP and they squeeked so much people couldn't sleep. The Hostel is stylish decorated and I felt very safe and welcome there. If you want to you can easly walk into town or just get the train at Kings Cross wich is 2 min walk away. The staff is very friendly and planing activities to do all together. Cleanliness is absolutly no problem in Asylum.The Hostel is stylish decorated and I felt very safe and welcome there.
