very nice 'patio' allowing to relax from noise and heat in Santiago

I just felt like I was at home, people are nice and sympa, not only the visitors, this always depends, but people that work there, they are really nice, help with clues if you need (as a tourist you always need something). the place it´s at the centre, close to everything but the street is very calm and beautiful. it's very very nice, it was hard to leave!

I did not enjoy my stay - my room was dark, smelly (smelt of drains but did not appear to come from the bathroom), I had to put a blanket up over the window for privacy at night, I doubt the shower had been cleaned after the last person - there was a wet soggy soap wrapper sitting in the soap tray. I was not offered breakfast except on the last morning of my stay, although breakfast was included in the price. Reception area was dark and dingy, with bodies sprawled on sofas.

Good hostel, very nice staff. Just a shame there weren't more people staying while I was there.
