The woman who checked us in was very helpful; although finding the place was somewhat of a challenge as the directions weren't very clear. The apartment itself was in great condition, and very clean. The hallways were very dark though and finding the timed light switches was sometimes a problem, especially because they look exactly like the doorbell switches. A stranger rang our bell late at night after confusing the two, waking us up. Besides that, everything else was great!
First of all, the place was very clean with a comfortable bed, small bathroom, and few items available in the sink/kitchen area. For amenities, it says breakfast included but we never saw it or does the container of juice in the fridge count? Safety around the area is a concern in general especially if you need to leave very early to catch a ferry to the islands.
Miglen (the manager) is awesome .. the hotel has no reception (and you dont need it). We arrived Athens late night and just called his room and someone came down to open the door and introduce the room. The hotel has a an elevator and a bar the the first floor. It's very close to the Monastiraki square .. it's also very close to two subway lines (the one from airport and another one from the port). After midnight the subway is closed .. but you can take a bus X95 from the Airport to Syntagma
