Excellent location, very near the Acropolis at calm neighborhood, near the metro. Rooms have big, individual lockers (bring your padlock). Good security. Has 1 bathroom per 3 rooms (each floor), although one was always reserved to just one room and in the others were completely dirty. Staff wasn't very helpful, didn't readily give directions or tips. Has a kitchen, but the oven is broken and the hob requires some pyrotechnic abilities to be turned on. Has free wifi but PCs are paid. Overall good
First time we stayed at the hostel we stayed at the studio, which was perfect! Nice rooms, with a bathroom inside each room (one bathroom for 6 beds) and a nice breakfast (not too big, but you can buy adicional things for one euro). Second time, we weren't at the studio, and I think there were not enough bathrooms..only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms with 6 beds each (also, the sink, shower and toilet were all together, which means if someone is taking a shower you can't use the toilet).
I was only there a couple hours but seemed a good hostel
A very well located hostel which offers a good €6 walking tour and a relaxed, fun vibe. Breakfast is very average and the administration of the air con in rooms is strange and bound to cause problems in dorms; control is held at reception for which anyone in the room can obtain and change the temperature or turn off.
Just a few steps away from the entrance to the Acrópolis. Nice bedrooms, clean hostel and helpful staff. The view of the Acrópolis from the top of the hostel is just amazing. Definitely the place to stay if you are a back packer going to Athens.
I stayed in the Studios and it seems more a hotel than a hostel. A couple of minutes from the Acropoli it's in a perfect spot for exploring the rest of the city. There is also a bar where you have different activities every night like karaoke for meeting the rest of the travellers. The staff is really helpfull with different activities you can do around Athens: delphi, cape sunio or the cruise around the islands (Aegina, Poros and Hydra)
Stayed in the studio building in which was all very nice. The rooftop bar at the other building is real cool. Location of both buildings is perfect
My biggest (and only) complaint would be the lack of a common area in the Studios hostel. Other than that, the place was really wonderful! The hostel-owned café next door was spectacular and the staff, friendly.
I really loved my stay at this hostel; perfect location, awesome people, great upstairs balcony to drink at overlooking acropolis.. Definitely would come back here again when I'm in Athens. Only negative thing I have to say is there is one guy at the front desk who made a view rude comments towards us when we checked in but everyone else was great.
Best hostel to stay at in Athens! Hands down! After having a nightmare experience at another hostel a friebd of ours told us to book this place and we loved it! Super clean, great staff, and best location!

This hostel is outstanding. Great location, fantastic rooftop bar, lovely staff, fab facilities, clean and great value for money. We spent 2 nights in the hostel and 1 night in the studios down the road when they couldn't fit us into the hostel - so helpful! Walking tour is great, only 6 euro to see everything. Studios have a great sports bar and restaurant, and self service washing machines.
Great atmosphere! The combination of rooftop bar and sports bar (two separate locations!) means you really get a great chance to meet and interact with people. Plus the prices for all their stuff are really good!
Excellent way to begin your Greece adventure. The roof top bar is a must. Great vibe :)
We were placed in the Athens Studios rather than the hostel, which was like having our own apartment. Super clean and comfortable with great beds and air con. I personally prefer hotels simply for the chance to meet more people, but the roof terrace (at Athens Backpackers) is open to Studios guests too, so it wasn't a big deal, just 3 minutes down the road. A bit more expensive than most hostels, but worth it. Would stay again.
A well organised and spotless place to stay in Athens. Run by well organised enthusiastic young people whom understands the needs of the visitor. I can see why then reviews are so good.
Stayed in the private apartment building, which is around the corner from the actual hostel. Room was super nice, had 2 balconies! Pretty cool place, they have their own sports bar with happy hour deals and karaoke. Location can't be beat, it's literally down the street from the Acropolis. Wifi in the room is shoddy but works great downstairs / at the sports bar. Oh yeah, free breakfast!
Staff was great and both the studios and backpackers were nice places to stay. (We stayed in both). Very easy access to all major sites, port and airport. A little more expensive then most Athen hostels but good atmosphere and location to make up for it.
Great hostel. I personally don't care for Athens but if you're going to stay there this hostel is the best. Super clean, free breakfast, kitchen, great wifi, spacious rooms, helpful people at front Desk, and literally right next to the acropolis. Rooftop bar (a little squished but still cool) great for meeting people!
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the wifi connection was good and it was very close (walking distance) to the Acropolis!
I really enjoyed the people who work here, so helpful and friendly. My friend and I were kind of stranded in Athens and they went out of their way to help us find a last minute ferry to Crete and gave us wonderful recommendations for what to do. Also, it's located right off of a metro stop, which was great for getting to and from the airport and ferries. Many hostels advertise air conditioning, and don't have it, but there is great AC here! The roof bar has a killer view of the Acropolis, too!
