Great! Staffs were very helpful in giving tips and advice on how to get to places I wanted to go and made the trip as smooth as it can be! Facilities were excellent! Nothing much to complain!

Great hostel! Excellent staff, all of them very friendly and helpful! The hostel is on a relly nice street lined with orange trees right next to the Acropolis. Very clean place, check out the Sports bar, had a really good time there.

Very friendly staff, helped us plan out our trip route. Good location close to the Acropolis and the metro. Dorms were big in size but the bathrooms were very small and dirty sometimes.

I was very pleased to stay here, the staff were very helpful and helped me out a lot. The guided tour was excellent! It has a great location and very good 24 hour reception. The internet is expensive, but they let me use it for free when I went over my overdraft and couldn't get any money out..... Very good hostel, thank you! :)

Athens backpackers is very well located and has a good community feel to it. Very close to the acropolis and other sights.

Really great hostel. Fantastic location on a quiet side street 2 minutes walk from the metro station and right near the Acropolis, very friendly staff and nice, clean, spacious dorms. I doubt if there could be a better hostel in Athens.

Off season, so it's a bit quieter atmosphere (sounds like it's pretty lively in the summer) - but there are other guests around to hang out with (and a bar down the street associated with the hostel), you can control the heat in room (I spent my first night in Athens miserably cold in different hostel that would barely turn the heat on, so this is important!), clean and secure, fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave). Definitely purposefully set up by and for backpackers and well run.

As an introduction to hostels, this one was pretty good. I have stayed at a few since, and I found that the facilities here are hard to come by. The staff were lovely, going out of their way to point out the best places to eat and streets to take. It was wonderful.

Great location, and access to pretty much any facility that you might need (laundry, internet, printing, luggage storage...). Security is excellent - carded access to rooms and lockers inside dorms (bring your own padlock). I stayed during winter so there wasn't a lot of "atmosphere", but was still able to meet people and the walking tour was good for that. Only improvement I could suggest is maybe the bathrooms could do with fans as they get a bit steamy and damp after anyone showers.

The beds could have been more comfortable, but the rest was great

Great staff- there's no tv room or common room with any entertainment though - hard to meet anyone unless they're in the kitchen or waiting to be served at the counter.. Otherwise it's pretty good

It was a wonderful place to stay. Very convenient for ancient sites, bus, metro. You can cook your own food. You meet friendly travelers from all around the world. If you are tech person.. Wi fi is free all the time. I met good friends during breakfast or dinner time.

I was very impressed by my stay at AB: friendly and helpful staff, good free breakfast, excellent location, clean and quiet... practically perfect!!

Great staff, always happy to have a chat about anything about Athens. Rooms are fine, common room is great and the location within the city centre is very very easy

Great Location, amazing stuff and on top of that: Very international, safe atmosphere. The Sportsbar is definetely a place worth going to!

As last time, my stay at Athens was really great, the place is very nice, and well situated, the staff is great, helpfull and always available, concerning the rooms, they are ok, and very well situated, well if i come back each time it is because, everything is great ! Thank you very much ! i'll definitely come back, and recommend your Hostel. :)

Definitely a good hostel with excellent locations. Very close to almost all the tourist attractions, and have free breakfast. Only some small problems like no hair dryer and laundry a little bit far from the hostel.
