I stayed at the new building, which was pretty cool. New, nice room, clean, organized, with a nice balcon and calm. There's no area for hanging around with people though.
Brilliant friendly Hostel in an ideal location by the Acropolis, Syntagma square...would definitely stay here again
at least hv some cereal, milk, chocolate for breakfast and so many mosquitos there, I killed 3-4 every nights and still there are lots which made me can't sleep well
Had a great time at this hostel! Good location and staff very easy to meet people!
Rooftop bar closed for winter but still lots of people in hostel. Great cafes, gyros and restaurants just around the corner.
Excellent location and helpful and friendly staff.
Very convenient location. Close to major attractions. Easy to get to, easy connections for day trips out of Athens, staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Roof top is fun and a good place to meet people. Rooms are clean, bathrooms require squeegee after shower due to major water leakage from showers. Kind of a mess. Breakfast is very basic, bread/toast and hard boiled eggs, but can be added to. Wifi good all over hostel. Would definitely recommend.
great room. Very conformtable. Very good location.
My stay at Big Apple was great. Awesomely helpful staff and fantastic location near the Blue Mosque and good restaurants. Rooms were clean and quiet (I stayed in a 6 person). Breakfast was included and also very good with western and traditional turkish food. Would definitely refer to a friend and return.
Thank you very much. I would definitely reccommend this location!

I stayed in the Athens Studio instead, no idea why. But the rooms are newer and cleaner. There is even a small pantry in the room for budget travelers. And the Fish Cake Restaurant downstairs serve nice and decently priced food. Then there is a sport bar with sports show every night, another rooftop bar at the other building. The location is wonderful too, walking distance to acropolis and the metro. The staffs are also very friendly and would help you with many things.
Stay for a week, was a good place to stay, like having a balcony and staff was very helpful!!
Overall this was a nice hostel. I stayed in a 6-bed suite which had an ensuite bathroom, as well as a small kitchenette. The rooms were clean, and the beds were decent. The bedding all seemed clean. The free breakfast was fine for the cost. Two hard boiled eggs and a couple rolls. Nothing fancy, but many free hostel breakfasts don't even have eggs, so this is a decent breakfast to get your day started. If you want more, you can purchase other stuff for cheap (fruit, yogurt, etc.).
Only negative was the €5 charge for my lost (mid stay) electronic key card. This wasn't mentioned during check in and they didn't even collect them when I checked out (just had a stack for them with way fewer cards than folks checking out) so I don't know why I had to pay €5 to replace it.
The 6 female dorm bathroom needs to be improved. Beakfast is average. Excellent Location. Staff was ok (the guys were so much nicer than the girls, though). Tea and coffee facilities is great.
Fantastic location, SO close to the acropolis and Plaka area. Reception were extremely helpful. Rooftop bar has an awesome view and atmosphere, Acropolis Kisses were the Bomb! Great memories :)
Perfect location as right around the corner from the Acropolis. Amazing view from the rooftop bar. The rooms were clean, and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.
Very good location and facilities; did not like the plastic wrap on the beds though; staff was not really engaged with the people staying at the hostel, not very friendly.
Good location off the metro and near the Acropolis muesum, the Temple of Zues, the hop-on-hop-off, and many resturants. I was in the studios location down the street from backpackers which was nice. They had a resturant/bar/laundry attached to it. Friendly staff and decent rooms. The AC wasn't very powerful so it would take a bit to cool the room down. Ensuite bathroom had some mold on ceiling and you had to squeegy water from floor after showers.
