The biggest selling points are the rooftop bar and the location right next to Acropoli. The bathrooms are nothing to rave about and neither is the breakfast.

i have spent 3 nights in the Athens Backpackers and think its the best hostel i have ever been in!every member of staff was fabulous, the rooms are clean, the facilities all you need - pub, breakfast included, little restaurant, full laundry, and within walking distance of all you want to see in Athens - about 300m from the Acropolis - what more can you want? the guys were really fantastic and I can recommend this hostel highly! go stay there! its a nice place to be!

Its a very good hostel. Rooms are clean and confortable. Internet works fine. People that work there are friendly and helps you in whatever you need. Its very close to the Acropolis and they organize a guided walking tour, that is pretty cheap. And the guide (Vagelis) is a nice guy...knows and explains a lot of interesting histories.

Amazing hostel! Stayed there twice in the studios. Most rooms have a fully equiped kitchen and bathroom. Clean, modern. Very well organised and prepared for hosting. NIce atmosphere and so close to the Acropolis! Only downside: wifi kept breaking off and showers tend to flood the bathroom (and I stayed in 3 different rooms!). Breakfast is good but not very varied :/ I highly recommend the walking tour, specially if you´re not staying long in Athens...ps, amazing view from the rooftop bar!

I had a great stay at Athens Backpackers. The hostel bar was fun and it was super easy to meet people, which was especially nice as a solo traveler. The views of the acropolis are great as well! The hostel is in walking distance of most major things to see in the city, which was really nice. The room was good and there was a locker to store the things I am really protective of like electronics, wallet etc. There were LOTS of stairs, so beware of that. I would definitely stay here again.

Athens backpackers is perfect! The staff are amazing, helpful with everything, super accommodating. The facilities are exactly what every backpacker hostel should have and more. The location is wonderful right next to the akropoli metro line. Definitely stay here! As a solo traveler I've found it the perfect place!!

The shower didn\'t have hot water one day. Otherwise, the rooms are very good, the staff is helpful and the breakfast is okay, although not great. Overall 3/5

The staff was very kind, the place is located in a good position... this as good things... As bad things: * Internet is slow * There is only one elevator, small, for the services, anyway you can use it... but otherwise you have to go to the 4 floor by stairs... In general I would return to this hostel.

Overall, a nice experience. Shower in the WC in the studio was weird b/c there were no divider between shower and the rest of the bathroom (even 1 inch lip or a curtain would've been nice). The entire bathroom gets soaked and it's difficult when 6 people need to use it. Rooftop bar at the other location was nice with a great view. Location was fantastic--can't really get any better. Toilet was really dirty when we arrived, and it looked like they hadn't cleaned behind the beds in a month.

Awesome location right near the Acropolis. Staff was helpful in moving our room when the first one we were given only had one free bed and we were two people.

The water temperature/pressure is unsatisfactory and there is an ant problem on the 3rd floor.

Need more power points. I never got a chance to charge any of my appliances because they were constantly being used by other people. Just 3 power points to be shared among 6 people. Its a nightmare when your camera runs out of battery.

Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at. You can't beat the location and the staff is awesome. (Also, great food right next-door.)

This is a great hostel in a wonderful location - the surrounding area is safe and right in the middle of all Athens' greatest sights. The staff was were extremely helpful, especially Walter, who always went out of his way to make guests feel welcome and answer any questions that might have about travel planning in Greece.

Excellent location, good part of town. Staff very friendly and helpful and laundromat was very convenient. Basic accommodations. Unfortunately there were little ants in the room, so don't bring in any food!

Really good hostel right in central Athens with everything within walking distance..spent 2 nights - one in the backpackers, one in the studios - both really good!

Very helpful, personable staff. Easy to get to from both the airport and the port! Great rooftop bar!

Had a blast here and I'm definitely coming back!
