Pretty decent place, needs more of a common room, but the rooftop bar is really nice. Breakfest was very very simple, toast, jam, and maybe a HB egg
Very helpful staff made orienting in new city a breeze
Great location. Staff was very knowledgable. The hostel itself was fairly basic. As someone else mentioned, I was attacked by mosquitos as well.
I spent three nights at the Backpackers with my sister. Had a great time. The location is as central as possible, a step away from the Acropolis. The staff was really helpful and the dorm had a lot of space. Maybe not the biggest fan of the included breakfast, but that's really the only minus I can think of
Party hostel. Cool rooftop bar and easy to meet people. Bartender was a legend, took a group of us out after. Can be pretty loud so bring earplugs if you want to sleep.
Really cool place perfect location right near the acropolis and main streets of Athens, very close to metro bakeries cafes restaurants. Cool up stairs bar. Staff where Al really friendly and helpful. My favorite was the kitchen, best kitchen I have ever seen in a hostel.
The location of this hostel really was excellent. The hostel itself was clean and well run and the staff were friendly. The roof top bar is also lovely and with fantastic views of the Acropolis. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Athens.
You cant beat the location. Its right near everything including the subway. Great value for your money. The beds are loud because of the plastic and breakfast was just toast and boiled eggs...some of the boiled egga werent cooked all the way. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

Clean and nice big dorm rooms to move around in. Not a great deal of a social atmosphere during the day but at night the roof top bar really picks up. 30 second walk to the train station and a Gyros shop.
Good stop to stay on layover or 2 on way to Greek islands.. Good hostel. Good location.. Walking distance to metro and acropolis. Roof terrace good for beer and meeting people.. Only gripe whoever map to the laundry should be shot.. Sh!thouse.. Other than that great.. Stayed here twice once on way to islands and on my return..
Great room size and great atmosphere in the sports bar! Would definitely stay again in Athens!
Perfect location to see the major sites of Athens. Nice large dorm rooms and showers.
Staff was very friendly, room/bathroom incredibly clean and the overall feeling of the place was lovely. They serve a light breakfast in the morning (hard boiled eggs and bread/toast with butter/jam with tea) which is a nice boost to your day. The location could not be better and the value for your money is fantastic. They also recommended a travel agency that gives 10% discounts to those staying at the hostel - I did the 3 Islands One Day Cruise, also totally recommend!

The staff were very helpful. Tight community. Everything you could need is within a short walking distance. Clean
Most of the staff members were quite rude and unfriendly and not helpful at all, which is very bad. The rooms are clean and nice, but the guests are mainly young, loud Aussies who like to party till very late inside the rooms showing almost no respect for other guests who just want and need to sleep.Breakfast was very basic. The main thing is the location, which is spot on,just few minutes walk from the Acropolis and the other main archeological sites.Overall a decent stay for the price you pay
Great terrace bar with views of the Acropolis! AC in room didnt work so it was brutally hot, apart from that good hostel with great staff!
The plastic covering on the mattress made for a slightly annoying sleep, but other than that I had a fantastic time at this hostel!
Good central location, the other hostel has a roof bar where you can see the acropolis which is awesome. Staff are really friendly and the pub quiz and hostel run events are a laugh!
Good: - close to tourist attractions and metro - comfortable accommodation - nice breakfast Not so good: - the staff members could learn how to smile. One staff member was welcoming but that may have been because on arrival he was telling us we were actually staying in a different building. Didn't mind, just would have been good to know in advance. - No common area to get a bit of atmosphere going - good thing I stayed in a dorm
Excellent location and the walking tour is a must. You have to provide your own lock for the lockers and they are too small to put a travel bag in. Staff at the desk weren't very helpful when you arrive and could be more friendly and welcoming. Air con was good in the room and enough space. Shower was good pressure, but went all over the bathroom floor, so you had to sweep it up after every shower
