Hotel is in in a pretty dodgy part of town although we didn't have any trouble. The staff we're extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms don't look anything like the photo's and the breakfast is literally some bread and jam!!
This was a fantastic hostel and I am so happy I was able to spend my time in Athens here! I would recommend this hostel to anyone young or old, it has a great staff, facilities and atmosphere! An A+!!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Helpful and friendly staff spent a long time making us Welcome and showing us locations, and lent us a corkscrew! Well equipped kitchens (oven, hob and pans etc.) meant we could make what we wanted, the rooms were clean and spacious and well decorated. And such a good price too! Only slight negative was no air con - but more than made up for by rest of package. Highly recommended!
The staff is incredibly friendly and will accommodate you in every way they can. But the accommodations left a little to be desired. Each bedroom is quite clean and nice, but they bathrooms and kitchen could use more love. We even had bugs in the kitchen. A bit if a dicey location as well, but really close to everything touristy.
You get what you pay for. Facilities aren't too bad but don't expect anything amazing. The owners were very helpful with providing us maps, wifi and advice, however as three young women travelling together it wasn't the safest area to be in at night, and it was very hot with only one fan in the room.

The staff were lovely, the room was nice and it was extremely central. As other comments have said a little dodgy after dark but from what I've seen most of Athens is like that to be honest. The only slight problem was lack of air con which made the room a bit like a sauna. However you can't really beat it for the price!
Don't believe the pictures, I don't know where they we're taken but it was t where we stayed. It's nice that you get an apartment but the kitchen it not well equipt with utensils so it is difficult to cook. It was hot whilst we we're there and it was unbearable, there is no way to get a draft from the windows and it's seriously uncomfortable. We were lucky and only had to share with one other couple, I dread to think whatnot would have been like if it was full.
Hosts were extremely pleasant and welcoming. The room was very nice, but far too hot due to no ac. The kitchen was a little dirty in places but stocked well. The area is a little dodgy and we were advised by more than one person including the owner to be careful late at night. However only a short walk to the metro and things were fine again.
Very friendly and helpful, breakfast was included. Quite hard to find however as the building has no advertising for 'Athens Colorful Urban Home' but instead only recognisable from the name of the building 'Kamateroy - 3'.
Lovely owners, beautiful room, good location. The lovely woman there did our laundry for 4 euros, folded it and all. She was wonderful, as was the place. Loved it.
Great place for people on a budget, the staff are great and the rooms are big. It is worth noting however that the hostel is situated in a fairly rough area so if you stay here don't go out too late at night.

Really nice staff, nice place, very cheap for the room you get. The breakfast is very small, but you have coffee and good bread so it is not that bad. The neighboorhood is nice during the day, there is an open market really close, but be careful during the night.
Staff was nice, our room was clean and the breakfast was complimentary and pretty good. It's walking distance from the Acropolis, the Archeological Museum and good metro access. However, I wouldn't recommend walking around after dark.
This place is in a bit of a dodgy looking location but its nice inside. the staff are great and gave us a double room then charged us LESS for it then hostelworld mentioned ... the only downside about this place was the shared bathrooms.... people...when you are SHARING a bathroom and shit all over the toilet, how about cleaning it up and showing some respect for others? Other than that pig, the place was great and we'd def stay again
We loved it here! The staff was so friendly you would think they were your best friends. The breakfast was god albeit small, but it's served right on your floor and late into the morning! The strongest coffee I ever had! I would love to stay here again. We enjoyed it so much we got another night!
Excellent service and very clean and nice hostel. I would definetly recommend staying in this hostel.

Extremely friendly and helpful people. Will let you use their internet in their own apartment for free. Very accomodating!
Miglen was a perfect host and so helpful with where to go. I highly reccomend the local markets (ladies beware of the men in the meat market though!). Don't expect a full breakfast, but what was provided was lovely. No common area so t was difficult to meet anyone. The kitchen came in handy. Super close to metro stations and walking distance to anywhere.
Absolutely lovely place with wonderful helpful people running it. It is in a slightly dodgy neighborhood but I never felt unsafe or at risk.
