Athens House Hostel Reviews

Is been a wonderful experience,for this price I expected worse,but when I got there I`ve found myself in a nice athmosfere, friendly staff, multilingual speaking.It was free wi-fi everywhere even on the balcony witch was beautiful. The kitchen was a big help cause cooking in there helped me to save some money.The room was large and clean, I had also free towels. The bathrooms are also clean and there was hot water to showers 24 hours. I meet other travelers there, made some friends. Thanks guys!

The man in charge was extremely decent to me which is more and more becoming a rare quality in this day and age i hope everything continues to go well for him and his helpers it was nice to meet some new people staying in the place.There is something i cant help liking about the greek way i shall have to make more effort to learn the language.

This is one of the cheapest hostels in Athens. The place and bathrooms are clean. Warm Showers. There is a kitchen to use unlike the other hostels in Athens. I like to cook. Giant LCD TV w/ cable so it is nice to watch television. Internet/wifi is fast. The prostitutes are harmless at night in the area don't mind the other reviews. There is a police station a block away so the area is safe. I have traveled to over 100 countries and trust me there are a lot worst places in the world!

the area and place were not safe which we realised after we stayed there. would suggest not to opt for this place at all.. the staff were of inconsiderate nature.

This hostel is amazing,best prices in Athens,good staff,nice rooms,easy to find and good location,dont let the reviews of prostitutes and drug addicts put you off,mind your own business and they say nothing to you,only around the corner from a respectable street !

Nice place

This is a great budget hostel. It is clean the staff is nice and it is very quiet. The prostitutes on the street do not bother anyone and the johns do not make you feel unsafe. Great place.

Hostel was nice. Clean bathroom and toilet. But location!!!! no comments! prostitute everywhere. Day and night!

The hotel is on district near the center but not famous. There are bitches on street, but it's not dangerous. Greeck people don't like this district. If you don't bach hostel too late on night, it's ok.

The Hostal is very good, but the location isn't.

When it comes to location - well, it is what it is. It's near to everything, but the neighbourhood is a bit dodgy. Lots of homeless people and prostitutes around, but not dangerous exactly. The problem with the hostel is mainly cleaniness and very poor is a understatement. There was hair on the bedclothes when we arrived, the bathroom was filthy and the kitchen was a mess. And the fridge was a real thrill - it smelled like it could kill after one deep breath.
