Most of the staff is great and very helpful. The computer clock is set to 2014 making most of the booking sites almost unusable (flights etc) the bathrooms are terrible (toilet keeps leaking, floor aaalways soaked, shower is tiny and shower head won't stay up) the beds are comfy and having a balcony is nice. Pretty bad part of the city but as long as you're careful it's okay.

A very simple but very well run hostel. We were also lucky in that we booked the dorms but the room ended up being just our group.

Great hostel!! Would def stay again! The staff was so nice and the people were great! The location was easy to get too and it was def worth the money spent! Close to everything the metro is a quick walk away! If I was staying in Athens again I would definitely stay there

While the staff was helpful, straight to the point, and professional, I don't think they could be described as friendly. Furthermore, the hostel looks nothing like it looks in the picture. It's adequate. My roommate and I shared a private room, and it reminded me of a really, really bad dorm room--nothing like the photos. You could tell that everything had been cleaned recently, but it's all that type of old where nothing really looks clean anymore. Also, the neighborhood was NOT the best.

This is a simple, no-frills hostel. Nothing is fancy or particularly charming but they are really running it well, the staff is extremely friendly, it is right by the Metro, and overall it is a really good value for the money. I would absolutely stay here again.

I'm not sure if it's because I was traveling during the off-season, but this hostel was pretty quiet, and there were no activities for travelers at the hostel. The staff is really nice, though. The older gentleman helped me coordinate a ferry buddy (she was going to the same island on the same ferry as me). The location around the hostel is a little bit sketchy at night, but nothing to stay away from.

This hostel is very nice, well located in Athenes, with 10 minutes of walk you can get to the city center. Staff is nice and very helpfull. There is Wifi but only downstair, they have a bit of trouble with the internet, but it works over all :) They have nice rooms and its clean. The kitchen is really nice, and big so its cool to have a place to cook. They have lookers but bring you luck. Its was a nice stay :) Weve staid 2 night and had lots of fun.

With excellent facilities, helpful staff, and a central location, this hostel is a great value for money. The hostel has a well-equipped kitchen, safety-deposit boxes to store your valuables, and a secure luggage storage room. The hostel is a one-minute walk to the Metaxourgio metro station and within easy walking distance to the main tourist sites in central Athens. I understand that in years past, this neighborhood was considered "dangerous," but I never felt unsafe returning to the hostel.

The staff was extremely helpful. We forgot our Amazon reader in the room and received a prompt email from the staff telling us about the same and asking us to come and collect it.
