Thanks for the free upgrade of our room to the one with kitchenette! It's much more spacious for the 4 of us sharing one room together :) The shower area in our ensuite bathroom could be improved as ours was flooding all the time and the space was really too tiny. But other than that, everything's great! Staff is really helpful and friendly and we liked the additional security of the main door of the hostel. Made us feel a lot safer. Extremely good location as well!

With a decent free breakfast, a tiny shower in ensuite and average bunk beds it is slightly overpriced, I guess because of the superb location, right next to wonderful Monastiraki and with views to the Acropolis. There's a nice rooftop and also you can hang around in the ground floor, but it somehow lacked in atmosphere when I was there in May, great staff though.

Amazing hostel! I loved it so much. As everyone says, it is the best hostel in Athens! The rooftop bar is spectacular and the people you will meet are all top-notch! The friendliest staff I've ever encountered.

Athenstyle is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The staff is friendly, its laid out well, and the rooftop bar was great.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in! Where do i start; The staff are all amazing, the location is very very central, the breakfast is comprehensive, the rooms are clean, the dinner is delicious and the view from the roof top bar on its own is worth every dollar of the nightly room rate. If you are visiting Athens, there is no alternative for your accommodation!

This was my first hostel experience, and loved every minute. Close to transport, food, and the acropolis. Clean facilities. Helpful staff. Good price. Breakfast was average, but free, so I can't complain. Rooftop bar was a definite highlight. Highly recommend.

Staff is amazing, helped me in everything, people interesting, location is perfect, you have view to acropolis... Near to metro station. Was awesome

Rooftop bar was nice. Hostel is in great location. So easy to wander around Athens and see the sights but wifi wasn't working fine. Be warned.

Just an awesome place

Prime location, right near the acropolis and monastiraki markets. Everything you need within walking distance. Good staff, clean place. Only qualm was with wifi service: somewhat sketchy and only works on main floor.

I stayed at Athenstyle for 6 nights in March. I was in town on my own, and everyone on staff was SO incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooftop bar is amazing, a great place to have a drink and meet people - and the view is spectacular! The hostel is clean, and the lobby area is a nice spot to hang out, it's always clean and buzzing with travelers. I would absolutely stay at Athenstyle again!! Thanks to everyone for making my trip to Athens so much more memorable- can't wait to come back!!

Lack of cleanliness definitely takes away from the greatness of this hostel. If they were to hire a new cleaning staff, they'd almost be a perfect 10.

Great location minutes away from the major sites, awesome staff, a great rooftop bar and excellent common room to meet people. Highly recommend--this is definitely a great find.

Overnight stop going from Crete back to Oslo. Staff; very helpful, welcoming and friendly! location Perfect for all major sights, 10 mins walk from Acropolis. Ideal for metro/buses/shopping. The Rooftop bar, BRILLIANT! and 2 for 1 beers in Happy hour, just what I needed! Superb view of the Acropolis and city. Will definitely recommend and stay here again next time I'm in Athens. EXCELLENT!!

The staff is friendly, the location is excellent (super close to major sites and great restaurants), and the rooftop bar is pretty impressive.

AGAIN A GOOD STAY HERE IN THIS FAMILY RUN HOSTEL.ALL STAFF STILL HELPFUL,CLEAN AND THE ROOF TOP BAR IS THE BEST IN ATHENS FOR THE VIEW OF THE AKROPOLIS!HOSTEL VERY CENTRAL EASY TO GET TO WITH WITH BUS FROM THE AIRPORT TO SYNTAGMA SQUARE OR THE METRO TO MONISTRAKI!GOOD BREAKFAST-SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
