On our trip to Boracay we caught a late flight into Kalibo and booked a night here. The room was basic but comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us figure out onward transport. If you're arriving at Kalibo airport in the evening I would definitely recommend checking this place out and travelling onwards the next day as the ferries at Caticlan don't run all night and alternatives can be expensive! Or you could just stay around and check out Kalibo of course.

This is a great place (and I think the only place on this website) to stay in Kalibo if you are in transit to Boracay. We had a flight from Manilla that landed in Kalibo at 11pm and so were to late to make our way to Boracay that day and so stayed here. The staff on reception were very helpfull even that late at night and was able to advise us on what we needed to do the next day to get to Boracay. It was all very easy and relatively cheap.

We arrived here very late at night from the airport after our flight from Manila, and couldn't have been more pleased with the warm and helpful welcome from the staff. We were off to Boracay the next day, and received all the information and assistance we needed for that. We took some time to stroll around the area near the hostel, which was pretty central within the city. The market and surrounding eateries offered enticing foods, but were unnecessary because of the nice breakfast at the hoste

Ati-Atihan Festival Hostel scores well in value for money. Location is good as well. There's a pizza & pasta salon nearby and quite close to the van/shuttle terminal bringing tourists to Caticlan. Had to stay one night because my flight from Manila was at early evening. Good choice for me. :)

A decent hostel to stay in for an overnighter before you head to Borocay. Air con was loud but can't complain about this place too much.
