Stayed here while waiting for our 3:45am flight to Manila. The location is close to the airport, but the surrounding area is awful. We asked the staff about food since the facilities were supposed to include a restaurant, but that was not given as an option to us. They pointed us in the general direction of the public market, which was closed at 7pm. Internet did not work. Staff was friendly and cheerful but not very helpful.

Very friendly staff, great opportunity for value for money and I think it was the only reasonable hostel in Kalibo.

staying at Ati-atihan Festival hostel was good...very homey atmosphere because of the kind, courteous staffs. the location is promising ,walking distance to downtown and market. Transportation was easy, right in front of the hostel, can carry you wherever you want...foods and sightseeing .(.tnks Ronald(: ) tricycle was spacious that can carry at least 6-8 persons., the fare is affordable and the drivers we encountered were all kind and trustworthy. I find the people in Kalibo nice and cool.

I was there 2 years ago and they have just enlarged and renovated their hostel... with old Philippine-Spanish styled furniture and now there are also rooms with private bath. An improvement of a hostel that had already left me good memories.

This place was a great hostel. The people were very nice, you get a choice of breakfast in the morning. It was extremely clean and it had hot water in the shower! It's only ten or so minutes from the Kalibo airport, so if you have an early flight it is definitely the place to stay. If I'm ever in Kalibo again, this is where I will stay. They even have a little bakery on the premises, just be careful, a load of bread we got was moldy!
