Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. I'm vegan, and they were easily able to accomodate my diet. Shared lots of good information about where to travel in the rest of Turkey. Really relaxing, peaceful place.

Atillas Getaway is truly a resort for backpackers. There is a swimming pool, fire pit, pool & ping pong tables, volleyball court, bar, 3 "chill out areas" with cushions where you can have a beer, use your computer or smoke hookah. Everyone who works there is family and extremely friendly, welcoming and fun to chat with; they really make you feel relaxed and at home. The rooms are basic but clean. Free shuttle to/from town. There is a trail where you can walk to Ephesus in 30-40 minutes.

while the location isn't great, consider what selçuk really has to offer if you stay in town and compare that to what Atilla's got going on at his getaway. in any case they will drop you in town and pick you up quite regularly. great clean rooms, fantastic open common area with pool in the summer, bar, fireplace, plenty of space to chill out with an efes and game of backgammon and fantastic Turkish food. The guys that run the place are awesome and always up for a chat. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious and it was beautiful sitting out on the patio by the fire watching the sunset. There are shuttles to town about every 2 hours, which is about a 5 minute drive.

Atilla's was fantastic--great atmosphere and people. The staff is very friendly and helpful (they assisted my friend and I in planning day trips to both nearby Ephesus and the much farther Pamukkale) and we would definitely go back the next time we're in Selcuk. The hostel is about 2km from town, I believe, but one of the staff members drives a shuttle throughout the day to and from the main bus station so access is very easy. Rooms are sparse but clean and comfortable. Overall a great stay!

Atilla's was great fun to stay at, even though they were still getting ready for the big season. Know that if you visit outside of late April-August, it may be pretty empty, but Atilla, his brother Alex and their friend Carlos are great hosts and the food is great. I'd highly recommend the breakfast/dinner combo for 5 euro extra per day - when we were there, Atilla's mum was making the food and it was excellent. Very enjoyable place to stay!

This place is great!! Very friendly staff, amazing home cooked meals, free transfer to and from the city. Too bad I was there in winter because the bar and the pool weren't available. But I would definitely reccommend it.

Location - I was under the impression it was close to VM's house and Ephesus. It is not at all and you need to take a dolmus. Safety - I had a solo room that was not within the hostel but outside overlooking pool (it wasn't lit at all, making it feel unsafe).Shower and heater did not work (freezing).I thought breakfast was included, its not. There was also a dinner, which I thought might have been a welcoming, its not. Charged about 15 dollars more for the meals & did not honor booking price.

Atillas Getaway is far more than a Hostel. It is a total getaway, and Atilla and family, do an outstanding job making your stay extremely pleasant. They shuttle you all about, and give you great advice on the sites to see on the area and around Turkey. Give them your business, you won't be disapointed
