Summary of traveller reviews

Atilla's Getaway in Selcuk offers a peaceful retreat with a beautiful courtyard and pool, perfect for relaxation. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, modern facilities, and outstanding views. It's a great base for exploring Ephesus, though having a car is recommended due to its location outside the city centre.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful - stunning pool perfect for summer and vast Mediterranean landscapes around. Really annoying location - 1hr walk to Selçuk or 5 minute minibus costing 60 Lira each time which really adds up. Also no kitchen, which is insane given there's nowhere to eat in the village. My friend was told there was a free breakfast on arrival, then made him pay $30 (AUD) for it (!) when checking out!

The hostel itself was cool, with great facilities and a comfy mattress. Unfortunately the location isn't ideal. I got stranded a couple of times in town looking for a taxi since the buses are almost non-existent. The location isn't a deal-breaker, but staff really should be sending out some helpful instructions before you arrive (or provide at check-in) showing how to get in and out of town. Otherwise, good luck. Security was also not ideal, with one key for the entire dorm room?
