staff is very friendly, as well as the other guests. food is good, although a bit pricey compared to city options.
A really nice place, amazing views. very friendly staff always happy to help, helpful in organising trips. An amazingly positive experience, good food, good people, friendly atmosphere, awesome views and sunshine. What more could you want!
Nice, friendly place with good facilities. The shuttle bus service is great, but it is a bit inconvenient to have to rely on it - it does put this place at a bit of a disadvantage against all of its competitors. Dorms were clean but could get cold at night.
The only place you should stay while in selcuk. Host is very welcoming and keen to give you any recommendations in the area. His mothers cooking for dinner is a must. Traditional Turkish fair.
Atilla is One of the best guys I have ever met! This place is like a new home when you arrive. Can't be any better!

The hostels is located a few km from the city, but provides a free shuttle whenever you want it, so it is not an issue. Currently it is under renovation but even now looks very nice. Stuff is very friendly, helpful and provide delicious food cooked by Atillas mother (veggy food is also available). If you like hiking you can go for a nice walk to the ancient Ephesus. So far it was our favorite hostel in Turkey.

The hostel is a bit out of the way, which requires taking the shuttle to and from town but honestly I didn't mind. They serve dinner every night so you'll want to be home on the last shuttle anyways. And for breakfast, there's a menu! All the food is cooked by Atilla's mom and boy can the woman cook. Walking over to see Efes is also an easy and fun hike.
Would have liked to have stayed longer than 2 nights. Atilla is a legend, and his mum's dinners and breakfasts are amazing. Walking distance to the ruins of Epehsus, beautiful scenery, pool which was freezing but nice, can imagine in summer this place would be awesome to hang out.
Wonderful place outside of town. Good breakfast, staff and atmosphere. Hot water was not working in one set of showers so they showed us another set; no big issue there.
If you're going to Ephesus, don't look anywhere else but to stay at Atilla's. Yes it's 2.5km outside of selcuk, but they have a free regular shuttle that picks up in the heart of the city. The staff here is the highlight. They know everything about getting to and from selcuk, Izmir, and the greater southwest area of turkey. They are all also originally Australian so they communicate well and make traveling a hassle free experience. Also, you can hike to Ephesus from there along a beautiful trail
Great hostel, away from centre of town but free pick up from the bus station. You can also walk from here to Ephasus. Friendly, helpful staff and good breakfast and dinner included. French toast for breakfast was delicious! Thanks Atilla!!
I loved this place.IIt was fun and friendly and helped arrange everything for us.
Even if it weren't within walking distance of Ephesus, Atilla's would still merit a visit on any trip down the coast from Istanbul. Stayed four years ago in mid-summer when the place was at its busiest, and returned this October to find the it quieter, but the same warm and welcoming atmosphere even more present. You need one day to see Ephesus, but most people seem to end up spending at least a couple to enjoy Atilla's.
Had a great stay at Atilla's! We came to see Ephesus, so we were only there for one night! We took the train into town, walked to the bus station (super short walk) through the great market, and the shuttle from Atilla's soon picked us up! The hostel's just a little bit south of town, but the benefit is some incredible facilities (great pool, lots of room to kick back and relax!) and we were able to walk from Atilla's to Ephesus and back. Met great people! Atilla's a great guy, loved our stay.
This is a great place to stay. Do not be put off by the fact that it is out of town. They run a shuttle bus to and from the town.
The Gregarious host for this hostel goes 'above and beyond' what one normally finds in any accommodation to make the stay there a really fun experience. The Lonely Planet Tour book for Turkey lists Atilla's Getaway as the only "Top Choice" in the Selcuk area. I can see why. The food (both breakfast and dinner included in the accommodation price) was very good and the room comfortable for the 3 of us. There wasn't a private WC for our room, but the shared WCs were plentiful and very clean.
The only interesting thing in this place is the bar, the staffs attitude and the breakfast menu. Besides that the location is terrible: far from town and bus station. in addition i found insects on my bed. but really, the owner was kind and helpful.
We had a wonderful stay at Attilla's . Wished we would of had more time just to hang out at the lovely surroundings. Everything you needed was provided for , no need to go elsewhere. We enjoyed the pool, pool table and bar. We would love to return again. The staff is doing a great job to make everyone's stay unforgettable. Thank you
Great Hostel, thanks for making us feel so welcome.
We had a great time at Atillas! If we come back to Selçuk some day, we are definitely staying there again! Great place, even better staff ... and the food!!!!
