Location is average as Pushkar is small, however there were countless other hostels located closer to the lake for the same price. Upon arrival at 12 we were told that our room was not ready and so the manager Papu put our things in the kitchen. We returned at 10 pm and were told that our room was still not ready as the existing guests had paid him extra to check out later. We had to switch rooms constantly and he met our frustration with extreme rudeness . We were kicked out at 10 am.

Owner Comment (Show)
Location is very near to the centre of town, but still peaceful. I did not put their things in the kitchen, I gave them a room to keep their things and to stay in for the day until their other room was ready. When I asked her to move to her booked room she was very rude to me. She asked me to kick out my other guests for her! She was very noisy and disturbed other customers in the hotel. She was not kicked at 10am, she was given an extra hour to check out before the next guests who had booked the room were allowed in, and she asked that the other guests slept on the roof until she left at 11pm for her train. We don't like this attitude our hotel -- there was no respect towards me or towards our other guests. All respectful guests will of course be looked after kindly! -- Pappu

Stayed for 3 nights on my own in this GH and didn't regret it. Should definitely be in more guide books being an excellent place to stay. Saw two rooms quite differently laid-out but both nice and clean. Had one of the best beds in my travels in India. Comfortable, with clean and pretty sheets, and a comforter which kept me warm in the cool winter nights. As for the owner, he is definitely a special guy and very open of spirit. He was helpful and kind and very relaxed. Location excellent.

The rooms are simple though quite spacious. Great roof top terrace where you can enjoy the home made breakfast and meals prepared by the friendly and helpful owner. Decent rooms for little money. We had a great time there!
