Atlantic Hostel is easy to find with a great location near the buzz of the medina whilst remaining a great place to chill out and take a break from the hustle and bustle. What really makes the hostel though is the staff who really make you feel at home even if youre a long way from it. There is always a very relaxed and homely feel at the hostel and if youre lucky you might see Yahya on the drum or you may be able to sample some of Pechos mouth-watering tagine.

Fantastic place to stay in Essaouira. Brilliant staff create a great, homely atmosphere. I will cherish the time I spent at this hostel. Cannot recommend it enough.

This hostel had an excellent location. Right in the city centre. The men who ran the hostel were fantastic. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere was great. However, the hostel definitely was not as clean as it could have been. I received bedbugs, and the bed that I slept on was also broken. If they just get it cleaned up, this hostel could be great.

Hostel is full of character, with cracking staff, free mint tea, lovely communal area and rooftop terrace with great views. Breakfast is pretty cheap, and the location is great - a few seconds off one of the main streets. It has a bit of a shabby feel which only adds to its character, and it's still pretty clean regardless.

Hey Mates, how are you? We wanted to let you know, that Simone (slept in the Bed on the right side) got Bedbuggs in the last Hostel in Marakesh as well. Probably we still had them. We tried to take to the guy working there, but it didn't seemed, that he understood us. Maybe you can tell him? Another thing: the timetable of supertours you have in your Hostel is not correct. We had to wait for 1 hour until the bus. Thanks again for taking such good care of us! We had a wonderful time in Essauira.

Great value and atmosphere - the staff do a really good job of making a welcoming, homey environment. Nice breakfasts and always hot showers too! Everyone is very helpful and kind.

Excellent place,well decorated ,clean and very friendly staff

The staff is amazing,friendly,they help you with everything and cook amazing meal. You'll feel at home the moment you step in and you can relax at the roofterrace with seaview. We had a great time and became friends for life with some staffmembers. Especially after a cool trip too Tahrazout.

Excellent service. The staff were very helpful and fun to be around. The atmosphere was great. There is always friendly people here to chat to and make friends with. I strongly recommend this place to any kind of traveller.
