The best staff ever. Each of them was extremely devoted to the guests and always created a really good fun, traditional moroccan atmosphere with drums, singing and lots of mint tea! The hostel is well decorated and very artsy and the roof terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy some fresh orange juice and soak up the sun! The location is in the heart of the old medina and is the perfect spot for a hostel!

Staff were really helpful and welcoming, especially the cook who was hilarious, great location and easy to find. Essaouira was beautiful. Good value for money. However being an old building, the bathroom needs renovating as we showered using a hose. My main concern was watching three different people, two staff and an unknowing guests, all use the same set of sheets, which weren't changed in between uses. This is a very basic hygiene thing, sheets need to be changed between different people.

A nice terrace, easy to socialise, nice music. Some of hostel owners friends and family cannot handle their drinks though, and get very rude and obnoxious.

They are really nice!! I loved my stay in this place and I'd like to come back. They have the best attitude to make you feel part of this beautiful city.

Staff were friendly but super casual . If you wanted to walk early in the morning (around 7:30 ) it was difficult to wake up anybody to let you out. Bathroom facilities in some areas were in need of repair.

I liked staying here, it was very welcoming, the price is decent and the services on offer are exactly what you expect for the price. The guys that work here will help you with whatever information you may need and you'll always have fun whenever and a lot of interesting people to meet. Astounding double-deck terrace, good prices, and above all the best-ever staff, you can learn a few thing from, and have a little party with. They make the atmosphere unique!

I stayed many nights at Atlantic Hostel during my trip to Morocco. 1 word: perfect from "A" to "Z". The dormitories were clean/+confortable, the Living room and Terrace(BAR) are really Amazing places for the price you pay. In Essaouira, I dont think you can find a good accodomation like Atlantic hostel: I highly recommand this hostel! Big up for the staff(music, tips, etc)Love you Brothers

Great staff!!! very helpful and friendly, they are amazing music as well! fantastico! thanks a lot!

+ terrace on the rooftop location - money was stolen out of the locker.

staff spent all night playing loud music, showers were cold and bedrooms were freezing

My stay was fantastic, the staff were super friendly! The common area was really nice and they played music every evening. You could also pay a little extra for the breakfasts (until midday - no need to rush and get up early :) ) and dinners (3 courses of home cooked food!) which were always really tasty. The location is in the old medina, so really convenient. The bathrooms were nice and clean and always hot water in the shower. Would definately return here!

Such a wonderfully welcoming hostel! The staff were very friendly and helpful for the duration of our 3 night stay (we wish it could have been longer). The common area and roof were full of exciting energy and were a great place to meet friends and other travellers. We also had dinner on one of the nights which was fantastic and a really good value!

Nice hostel, great rooftop for chillin´ in the sun, perfect location, and great staff!!! TOP! Thank you!!

Well located, and the kind of hostel you want for your adventure

Nice place to spend a day or 2 doing nothing

The Atlantic Hostel is an absolute gem! I arrived with plans of staying for only a few days, but changed plans twice to extend my visit because I enjoyed Essaouira and the atmosphere at the Atlantic so much. From the moment you walk in the door they make you feet at home, and the hostel itself is a perfect size, with a very relaxed, laid-back vibe. The staff cooks dinner nightly, sometimes letting guests peek in the kitchen for a quick lesson in Moroccan cooking. Highly recommended!

Yahya the manager is very welcoming and friendly, as well as all the staff who greet you with a hug or a hand shake everytime you walk through the door! The hostel has a lovely spacious roof area, with outside beds to relax on in the sun! The food is great, dinner is a 3 course meal with very good food, and the breakfast is very nice too. As well as traditional music is played in the common area each night!

This place does have a nice, relaxed atmosphere, but it can be pretty difficult to sleep with the almost constant music and general noise from the common room. My highlights from this hostel are probably the meals cooked by the in-house chef, which were really amazing (and he's a great guy, too!). The showers and bathrooms in general could do with a bit of maintenance, but overall I enjoyed my stay.

This is a true hostel, like a hostel should be. The staff and atmosphere was really amazing. The people are friendly and there were a lot of travellers when I stayed there. Although it was not super clean, I didn't mind at all because it kinda had its charms. It felt like I was in a house where there was always something going on. In the evening there is live music and you can eat here very good for a very reasonable price!
