A great hostel with lovely private rooms. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even went out of their way to help me when the battery of my car went dead.

That were one of the best hostels I've ever been! The staff is amazing, Chico is a great guy, there's always something to do, everything is clean and neat. Once in CPT, stay there and you won't regret.

Amazing guests and staff during my stay. A great social atmosphere for meeting people, but at the same time, bar shuts down early so you can go out in the city if you want to keep the party going or can go to sleep if you've got an early adventure planned the next morning. The location actually wasn't the greatest, but I had such a great time at the hostel I had to make sure the hostel got rated 100%.

Nice place to stay, despite sharing a dorm with a huge woman who snored like a wildebeest throughout the night (surely hostels should kick heavy snorers out?). Overall good, but a very poor breakfast - no real coffee!

I only planned to stay at the AP for 2 days but then ended up extending it twice up to 9 days. The entire staff was amazing, special thanks to Fiona, Caleb, Quicco and Mike! They have exctellent activities going on each day where they ask you if you would like to join and tons of information about cape town all over the hostel. Really clean and modern hostel! Definitly would stay there again!

Best hostel I ever stayed! The room (sky 2) has a nice design and they thought of everything when it comes to make your life beautiful and easy. There is a USB phone charger just above the amazing comfortable bed (so you don't have to handle those funny South African plugs), light next to it, great and spacious showers with hooks everywhere, lockers big enough for my 45L backpack, wonderful breakfast and the friendliest staff I've ever seen. Loved the braai. Wish I could stay there forever!

Honestly, an awesome hostel! One of my favourites and I've stayed in plenty over the years. Somehow it's able to balance the needs of everyone -- fun for the social butterflies, but quiet and chill if you're craving that; big dorm rooms, but also private rooms. Security wasn't a concern at all. The hostel is super clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. A great hostel for anyone.

The Hostel was great, perfectly located, a short walk from the Waterfront, with pubs, supermarket and restaurants nearby. The staff was amazing and very good fun, always organizing events, and parties at night to make sure your enjoy your stay. I met lovely people and hope to come back. Rooms are also very good, with comfy beds, and very calm.

Awesome hostel. Great common areas and bar. The Wednesday night braai is amazing. Excellent staff. Great location with a short walk to the waterfront. Nice dorms, comfy beds and lockers with powerpoints inside. A great stay. Was sad to leave and would stay again.

I had a two bed private and it felt like I was staying at hotel! Such a nice room and saved so much money for the value of a hotel. Staff was super friendly and really helpful!

This was a lovely place to stay. I was in the 8 person female dorm with en suite. It was very clean and housekeeping tides the room daily. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and will help you book activities during your stay. Free breakfast is included. Greenpoint is a good location as it is within walking distance to the downtown area, V

I had an exceptional time staying at this hostel. The staff were beyond friendly, it was easy to meet people, and I got the sense everyone there was having an excellent time. The owner seemed genuinely interested in providing a good hostel for travelers, and the staff really made it work by interacting with guests, giving reliable travel advice and assisting with booking tours and planning trips. The hostel events were fun, and there is a good game room and bar. Highly recommended to stay here.

Beautiful hostel in a good neighbourhood. Not close to city centre but close to the lovely V&A waterfront. 20-30 min walk to city centre.

Good location, big kitchen for guest use and several common areas (though with old couches). The staff is helpful when you have specific questions, but it's kind of hit or miss how friendly and inclusive they are -- they're all young interns and seem to have their own cliches and drama that take priority in their days. There are nice daily/weekly activities arranged by the hostel, but the board hadn't been updated in a week. Decent rooms - I'd opt for the cleaner female dorm over mixed.

This was the greatest hostel I have ever stayed at! The location was perfect the people were even better. The braai night on Wednesdays is great and the atmosphere in the bar is incredible. Abby and ophelie mad the stay even better. Can not recommend this place high enough.
