The Atlantic Point Hostel is a very stylish set up and people were all super friendly and open. The rooms were very clean. If I go in a few years back to Cape Town, I will visit this hostel again. It was great that they held a barbeque at the hostel.

This was my first stop in Cape Town and I was so impressed. Security was the best ive seen, lockers, gates, dorm rooms! Location was great for the waterfront and its not a bad walk to the cape town centre. Staff were very helpful, i didnt take advantage of them but Olivia spent two hours one morning trying to help some dude do the BLoukrands bungy and a shark dive! ...Fair play! Also, very clean, the girls who do the cleaning are lovely too!

I found this hostel to be very sterile, much like other Hi hostels. It has more of a hotel than hostel vibe. However the facilities are very good, e.g. kitchen. The annoying thing was that internet was $5 a day and there was no hourly rate and there were no nearby internet cafes.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and cool at night (we had a double ensuite), plenty of room to store personal things in the kitchen, clear and helpful rules which nearly everyone seemed to obey. Bright and clear kitchen, nice house from the 1930s, open atmosphere, lots of young people, but we (in our fifties with our teenage children) felt also welcome. We were glad we had not chosen an anonym hotel but this hostel. The kids felt allright in the dorm.

The cleanest and most immaculate hostel I've ever stayed in. A lot of rules though...on almost every wall and door! I think, due to its incredible layout and style, guests would respect it anyway - so no need to put quite as many rules on display... Very comfortable stay; very spacious and if you're looking for a release from the craziness of party hostels, Atlantic is just the ticket - a relaxing place to stay.

Not only is Cape Town one of my favorite cities I've ever been to, Atlantic Point has to be one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed at. Absolutely 4 Stars on every level. They deserve every award they've won so far.

Absolutely nothing bad to stay about this place! Should definitely be on top of your list when considering a place to stay in Cape Town. Easter extravaganza was just awesome!

I would definitely stay at AP again. We stayed in the mixed dorm. The first night it was unbearably stuffy, but the issue was fixed for our remaining nights. We literally just used it as a place to crash, but the beds were clean and the bathrooms immaculate. That's all we really needed.

This was a brilliant place to stay for its cleanliness, comfort, breakfast, activities and location to the Waterfront. I have never experienced a dorm with coloured cushions, coloured lamps and great decor. The plunge pool was very cute. The kitchen at the back was absolutely gorgeous. A couple of comfortable couches and I would never want to leave. I would highly recommend this hostel.

AP is not only one of the best hostels in CT, but one of the best I've stayed at anywhere in the world... Seriously, the hostel itself is brilliant! The only downside to the place is that the street parking does open you up to the risk of your car being broken into... I have stayed at AP a few times, and twice I have had my car broken into.. I think perhaps there might be people targetting AP as I have stayed at a number of other hostels and never in CT and never had a problem...

This was my first hostel experience, and I feel it may be downhill from here... it set a very high standard, particularly of cleanliness. The place is beautifully decorated, and having breakfast included helped a lot with finding my feet on arrival. I would definitely stay again if returning to the area.

I stayed there for 7 nights. The location is great, it is situated in greenpoint which is close to the waterfront. The staff is very friendly, the owners are around 30 yrs old. I stayed in 4 different rooms, all of them were great. Everything is available - breakfast is included, wifi, cables and computers are available for free as well. In the backyard there is a small pool which is perfect to cool down on very hot days. Everything is very clean and serviced every day.Everything is very modern!
