Second time I've stayed here, definitely better to fork out a little extra for a smaller room, quite a good bit nicer! I like the character of this place, it's very comfortable and well decorated. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were great, even giving me a lift to the ferry port with my huge amount of luggage. Very close to the ferry port , shops, and the scenic waterfront.

The kitchen is a bit small and our room had nothing to hang things like a wet towel on. We liked that the room was very light, the breakfast and the desert.

This place is very bright and colourful with a nice sort of theme. Very comfortable common area, kind of weirdly arranged dorm room, only real complaint was free tea is worth the price, yuck. Adecent place to stay for a stop over in Picton.

Great little hostel in a great location. Nice rooms and communal area but kitchen lay out is quite small and not easy to get to things if there are more than 3 people in there! Free breakfast was good but even that was very hectic in the small space. The manager is a really nice friendly lady, the other staff are a bit hit and miss as they just work for their board so aren't really interested in good service.
