Thanks. They have to save a problem with the door.

Great Hostel (if you want to call it that). It's more of a couple of rooms inside of a restaurant. However, the rooms are clean and the staff is really helpful. Meddy (spelling?), the owner, will go out of his way to make sure you're enjoying your experience. Osama, and the rest of the staff are all very helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a quiet place. However, if you're looking for a hostel vibe look elsewhere.

It was the worst hostel I've ever been. They didn't respect my reservation and they change me to another place that was not as good or safe. They were also rude and not trustworthy.

Owner Comment (Hide)

The owner of the hostel is amazing, for 7 euros you have a really good meal (salad, meal, desert) and the hostel is very beautiful

Auberge Douzi didn't exist at all, only a restaurant. Sijane, their agent, brought me to Riad Badi that is linked to the Riad Salam. Their pick up didn't work, waited for 1,5 h. Eventually I took a small taxi on their behalf that cost more than double of the normal price. Waited 1 hour at a medina gate to pick me up there.Do not use their pick up service! She promissed tickets for tours and never showed up. Women, no Riat Badi/Salam"Hamam"-Service! It's done by a man! (So touching your breasts!)

We called them to tell them we were running late and would arrive late at night. They said it's no problem. We booked two beds in the dorm. However, when we arrived, it seemed that all beds were taken, because the others put clothes on the other beds. The owners said that this was not a proper welcome for us, especially since we were tired and it was late. They gave us a private room in another building, with private shower! For the dorm price! We ended up staying there an extra night. Lovely!

Fine enough for our first night. An easy 10/15min walk to the main place. Staff were very smiley!

the only reason to go there is money. We booked the room, when we arrived there wasn't any room waiting for us so the owner took us to the other place, not as nice looking. The place is cheap, there is not a lot you can ask for 35 dirham/night ...

The shower was broken and we didn't get hot water one of the nights we stayed in the hotel. It's nice that the breakfast is included and they have tea in the afternoon aswell.

Very friendly staff, nice, clean and pleasant place. Great value for the money. The only downside - no hot watter. Next time we come to marrakesh, we will surely stay at this place again.

The Auberge Abyss Douzi instantly offered a warm and inviting atmosphere and was certainly a lot better than I could have expected for the money. The gem of the place is Abdul, who does whatever he can to make you feel at home and bring everyone one together which is amazing when travelling solo. You couldn't ask for a better location for wondering around the city and the area itself is full of life which provides plenty to take in. Loved it, loved Marrakech, loved Morocco!!
