Can't beat the location: close to the city and a beautiful view of Avignon across the river. All for a fantastic price! There were no school groups when I stayed, though I was there on a Sunday.

It is very easy to find, just 15 min walk from Avignon Centre. The receptionists cannot speak much English, but they are very nice and helpful peaple. Beds are comfortable, but the blankets and sheets don't seem so good. Other facilities, like showering room and toilets are very nice. By the way, the homemade wine in the cafeteria is not bad. :)

No kitchen - I wouldnt really go so far as calling it a hostel, it is more for school groups or tour groups than single travellers. Lots of school groups yelling in the hallways till all hours of the night. Other than that, it was very very clean. You do have to \'pay\' for internet - buy a drink at the cafe and you get it for free for the rest of the day. It was a bit of a trek to town, but not too bad.

Staff is nice, but does not speak English. I know its France, but at least at the reception. Furthermore many school classes come there so you have terrible noise the whole night.

The only thing bothers me is that they need to keep your passport to give you the key. Except for that, It's a good place to stay a couple of days because of the nice price.

for safe money reason, it is a good choice... good location... check in without a high expectation, everyone will be happy... by the way Avignon is a very beautiful small town...

For those who are looking for a more "down to earth"- stay in Avignon, this place is perfect and affordable. The location just by the river is super nice and still you only walk ten minutes to the old town.

We had a 1 night stay in a double room with shower (shared toilets). Value for money is amazing: we paid a total of 34 EUR with taxes for 2 people, it was incredibly cheap! The hotel part is correct, good bed and shower. In low season, it was very calm, we enjoyed an amazing view of the old city, it's by the river and you can stroll along the water. It is a bit far from the main train station, but if you're not afraid of a 30min walk, it's worth it.

we were overcharged on our arrival by 10% as the staff insisited that the some we had paid on hostel world was not included in the price.

This hostel is located in front of the Rhone river, so it\'s very good. But, you should take a bus. Most of all, i was uncomfortable, because of the staff. I can\'t speak french, but she \"always\" said to me in french. if i didn\'t understand, after then she told me in english.

Very clean, very cheap. Difficult to meet other travellers as there's no common area to hang out in or to cook in. Can be very noisy at night and in the morning when school groups come through. Great location.

Although we had originally booked a hostel room, we were moved to the hotel part of the property because of the arrival of a large school group. The hotel room was great, except that the staff hadn't worked out a good system for sharing the one room key amongst four strangers, so the room went unlocked during most of our stay. Also, if you arrive while reception is closed (between 2 and 5 pm), you have to wait to check in, which is a pain.

If you're looking for a cheap place in Avignon, this is it. It is sort of hard to get to if you've got a lot of stuff with you, but it does have a great view of the city and the bridge. TIP: If you keep walking along the island that the hostel/campsite is on, you'll get to a little ferry dock. The ferry is free and takes you right to the city.

The hostel is located next to a campsite so you can camp or stay in a room. There weren't many people when I stayed, but the walls are pretty thin so it can get kind of loud. It's located on the otherside of the Rhone River so you have to walk outside of the city center, that takes 10-15 minutes.

Very nice hostel. Should have a common room because it was a little hard to meet fellow travelers. Also it would be nice to have breakfast included :)
